Love Potion Oriflame for women

If on a tight budget and long for Black XS For Her-Paco Rabanne buy Love Potion...On my skin I see/smell almost no difference between these two...

Love potion doesn't bring any chocolate-related thoughts when I sniff it.
It does, however, make me feel like I am wearing a lighter version of Hypnotic Poison.
My male work colleagues like me wearing this, they say that I smell like a million bucks, which is great to hear every so often.
Love Potion would make a great bedtime fragrance; it is hot, sensual, sexy; it will probably make your partner want to strip that fishnet nightie off you right away.
It has pleasant projection and lasts about 5 hours.
Enough to last for bedtime games :-)
I am happy to wear it to office and none of my work colleagues find it ''too much to cope with'', theie comments are flattering and when I told them it was an Oriflame juice, no one believed me until I brought the bottle to work so that everyone could have a spritz and sniff.
The only annoying thing is bottle cap which looks like a bloody aerial; they could have missed that detail and make it more comfortable and discreet to use while away from home.
Other than this - the fragrance is loveable.

Nice perfume!I like it a lot!It smells to me like milk chocolate, as the time passes- but not strong chocolate as I wanted - flowers,vanilla and is not too sweet.Warm light chocolate perfume for everyday use but not long-lasting.

I have it! What can I say .... definitely not my type of perfume, but I expected that. Heavy for my taste and feel floral notes. I would prefer more fruity-cocoa. And it is flower-cocoa-vanilla.
My man, however mad at it. I wanted to give it to my mother, but he stopped me and said "I want to wear this perfume for me!"
I am very sad that my Escada Moon Sparkle not have the same effect on him, because he does not like fruity scents.
Perhaps this review will not be useful enough, but I wanted to tell you that I realized one thing - men truly like heavy and sweet perfumes:(

Love Potion is my first Oriflame perfume. I haven't been a fan of Oriflame scents but this seemed interesting enough to buy.
To be honest I was actually looking for something different. Don't get me wrong, it's nice but I had higher expectations on this because of all these interesting notes and the sexy image.
First sniff is kinda generic. I don't know if it's the cocoa or chocolate. The tangerine adds a little zestfulness and juiciness to it. Other than that it smells like a sweet and not the most original perfume out there. And it's more gourmand than oriental.
I was also expecting more from its projection. Desire and passion which this perfume represents are bold and overpowering but this scent is very quiet and can be smelt only from very close to the skin (or... maybe that was the purpose).
Overall it doesn't smell very sexy or desirable to me but sweet and happy. It reminds me a little bit of Viva la Juicy which is very playful and cheerful scent and not so passionate.
And what's up with the cap of Love Potion? It's so hard to remove and the removal process cannot be done in a sexy mode. Anyway, I'm still gonna wear this perfume. I don't know if I'm ever gonna put this on before going to bed but it's an okay scent if I need something not overpowering and loud but still cheerful.

I'm not a fan of heavy, oriental perfumes, but when I saw that this fragrance contains cocoa and coffee, I decided that I must have this perfume. I ordered it and hope that will not be sorry. Hopefully vanilla does not feel much, and rather to attend the coffee, cocoa and tangerine.

I like it, on my skin it's turning to a gentle pure cacao with some vanilla milk. It's not heavy, but still sweet enough. Also I can feel some bitter warm coffee notes!

Love Potion is light version of Hidden Fantasy at the middle. The sweet and spicy is balance verywell. I just had this kind of scent already, so I'm not surprised at all. When I saw the notes in Fragrantica, I hope so much ..much than I get. They are great notes, aren't they ?
I hope it less sweet and more chocolate, STICKY CHOCOLATE, DARK CHOCOLATE or whatever you call.. You see the bottle is red dark :D

I`m usually not very fond of catalogue perfumes.
I have had some of the samples and they always smell very similar - sweet, light and nothing interesting, nothing special.
This is a really good exception.
I liked it at the very first sniff.
However, it took me a while before I actually bought it. I went through like 3 samples. It may sound silly, because it is quite a cheap eau de parfum. But I just couldn`t get over the fact that it was from catalogue. Yeah, it smelled very nice, yummy, but I always had the thought in my head - maybe wait a bit, collect some money and you can buy some designer perfume. Quality over quantity.
But, while I was using my third Love Potion sample, I realised - I had fell in love with it. I enjoyed the warm cocoa, sweet chocolate, spicy ginger, plus I adore vanilla. It comforted me while I had it on at home, reading book. It made me feel sexy, when I kissed my boyfriend.
So that`s when I realised I had to have it! So I did.
And now I am very happy. `Cause I discovered that the actual perfume stays longer on my skin than the sample one. I can smell it lingering around me 3-5 hours. And then it stays close to the skin.

I got 2 nice comments about Love potion yesterday, after wearing it about 6-7 hours! And I never get compliments!

What I noticed is that it lasts better on skin than on clothes! Most times it is the opposite.
Anyway, I think I have found a cheap but quality perfume for eveyday use.

This was a totally blind purchase, and I couldn't be more pleased with it :) It's pure sensuality in a bottle (btw, quite difficult to open heh). What I feel the most is cocoa, chocolate (or coffee?) and vanilla, leaving a trace of spicy notes that last quite long on my skin. An affordable yet deliciously sexy perfume!

Today someone asked me if I was wearing Amor Amor. They are very alike, indeed.

I really like this perfume! It was a gift and a very pleasant surprise. I know that I was curious about its smell when I heard that Oriflame came out with this one. When I first smell it I was amazed how strong the cocoa scent can be! Everyone tells me that I smell like cocoa and sweets :) It really is nice this perfume! It kinda remind me of Hypnotic Poison, but of course that the vanilla it's not so strong as it is in Dior's perfume. I like that it's not sick-sweet and the longevity it's very good! Yes, I definitely recommend this Oriflame's perfume!

Love Potion did not strike me as I expected with its cocoa note. I rather had a juicy scent, impression given by the ginger. The overall scent is fizzy and sparkling And the oranges widely contribute to that. Later on the cocoa and vanilla notes come forth and soften the potion. It's a bright scent that doesn't get too woody, there allways remains a tanginess which makes your mouth water. It remains close to skin, the vanilla and cocoa make it sweet with the orange putting in a spicy sparkle. I consider it to be a young scent because it creates an atmosphere of youthful presence, like nice memories from when you were young.

This is actually very nice! Sweet but not too sweet. Lush rich gourmand with touch of cocoa and coffee on dark vanilla base, perfect for cold winter nights. I've been on a mood for good gourmands lately, and this one was a nice surprise and you can't beat the price! I paid €15 for 50ml bottle :)

The opening reminds me of YSL Cinema edp, maybe a tad darker and less floral. It soon turns darker and the floral top notes fade quickly. The drydown is rather dark, rich vanilla and cocoa with a touch of sweet spices. Better than most Oriflame offers.

got this through today. it's actually really nice and glad a bought it blind. i prefer the drydown though as i think it gets more complex as time goes on. it's quite similar to amor amor which i'm not a big fan of, but do like this scent. i wish there was more coffee in it.

Usually I dont use the cheap smells,like avon and oriflame, but this one I really love. Sweet, but not sugary. Very good choise for everyday in autumn or in winter.

According to reviews, I thought it would be chocolate and coffee gourmand, something like melting chocolate but all I get is strong tangerine, ginger and some floral notes.
Just in the end, I can get microamount of vanilla and coffee, but it´s almost undetectable on me.

For the first five minutes I get strong notes of dark chocolate, guess this must be the mix of cocoa and coffee, unless chocolate is not listed!
Then for the next 20 minutes, it turns pretty spicy, almost like a tamed version of the original Poison. It then fades down to be warm and sweet, but it stays close to the skin all the way.
Pretty interesting to see a perfume that has so various facets...and unlike almost all Oriflame fumes, it's very pleasant and doesn't have that synthetic feel to it.

Love Potion is a cocoa and coffee concoction that narrowly misses the mark on being confectionery. Top notes really don't do anything for me because they are just so dry and actually put me off a little. I expected a juicer and more inviting display of top notes but didn't get that. :(

Still, the final dry down is where the scent really hits its stride. I get a lightly sweetened, orange candy dusted in cocoa and coupled with vanilla. This phase of Love Potion is GREAT but I need consistency throughout the life of a perfume!

Love Potion also doesn't remotely come close to Hypnotic Poison but it undoubtedly mimics a creamier and more refined Viva La Juicy, once it has settled on my skin. Lasting power is reasonable about 4-6hrs but the projection is so low that I have to plant my nose to my skin just to catch a whiff.

Overall it is just okay for me but I suggest you try before you buy because opinions are quite varied! o.O But, if this really were a Love Potion then it would be good for...maybe a one night stand and not a continuous hot and steamy love affair.

I love the top notes: coffee and chocolate! It's a very nice perfume for winter, warm and yes, kind of sexy.

Ok, this doesn't rock my world as I thought it would to.
It's a nice enough scent - if you're into gourmand-style fragrances, which I'm currently very much.
But it doesn't have enough "ooomph". It just slightly slithers near coffee, ginger, cacao, but of nothing enough to stand out. I like it and will give it several more tries. Otherwise it goes up for swap.
Will try it on after I apply my cocoa-bodylotion too and see how that works out.
Another thing: it lacks sillage (which otherwise I have not an issue with when wearing Oriflame-fragrances).
To those fearing an "Amor-Amor" similarity: There is a tiny edge that reminds me of that scent, but it's nowhere close enough IMO to be called similar and it's absolutely no copy-cat...

Ah yes - the cap! That is as much annoying as it makes the bottle stand out. That cap is about 12cm high - half that length would have been sufficient because the box looks hideous it's so big, the cap gets in the way and you have to leave it out or lying in the drawers... I could have done with a much more smaller cap!

I want try this , because the notes sounds very well ... and i need some chocolat!!!! :) but i do not like AMOR AMOR ( this make me fell bad , sorry ) . Really is this exactly or very very similar ????

I absolutely love this perfume. I bough the massage oil as well. I`m sure it`s gonna be my favorite autumn perfume this year. One of my favorites till now for autumn was Avon True Glow. They are similar only because they are both very unique, atypical and special. With that being said both perfumes - Avon True Glow and Oriflame Love Potion - are only similar in their siciness otherwise TG is fresh and energizing while LP is warm, soothing and comforting.

I was sure it would be something intriguing and probably tasty. But I didn'n expect such a wonderful, amasing, classy, delicious and really erotic smell. I can smell tons of soft ginger with some sweet fresh fruits and a lot of chocolate and cocoa. The fragrance is constantly changing and all the time is beautiful. Love Potion is not expensive but creates a very luxurious aura. And it gives me a wonderful feeling of joy and excitement every time I sniff my wrist. I feel so good and so attractive wearing this scent. The smell of sex and of happiness. And a potent aphrodisiac indeed...

The fragrance is really nice,cute bottle.Similar to Amor Amor with a little of Dior Addict.But unfortunately too weak and lasts only about 1 hour.Disappointment...

I thought I will like through the notes, but I don't. I expected something more edible and less floral. It has a dry cacao note but it is not dominant to my nose, I don't know it's just too heavy and floral.

I agree, it smells like amor Amor Elixir. Its tasty and yummy. You can find it by comsultants by Oriflame.

It reminds me of Amor Amor from Cacharel. I haven't tested it on my skin yet, but I'll try it today. Hope I'll like it.

Warm and yummy fall-winter fragrance.The chocolate note is balanced so well that is not heavy.I get a bit spicy feeling also.There is something comforting about this perfume.At first smell it reminded me of playboy-play it spicy but this perfume is more sophisticated.
