Oriflame is presenting a new perfume for men Platinum, aiming at masculine and self-confident man. This elegant, strong and modern perfume is based on black pepper and musk accords.
Composition of the fragrance introduces black pepper, violet leaves and Ceylon cardamom in its opening notes. A heart is filled with nutmeg, patchouli, cedar, while vanilla, amber and musk stay in the base. The fragrance can be purchased as 75 ml EDT. Platinum was launched in 2010.

It's exactly what Dunmore said. Just like Fahrenheit. The cheaper version. Good for everyday use. Not very hot or cold. It's light and smooth. Good Oriflame fragrance.

Just like chaosist said, it smells similar to Dior's Fahrenheit. However, Fahrenheit is much more herbal, powerful, whereas Platinum is softer and more spicy.
Staying power is good on my skin (I get about 6 hours of intense projection). Sillage-also very good, people WILL notice you. However, since I already have Fahrenheit, I would never have bought this. I got it as a gift. Fahrenheit is much more natural, of higher quality than Platinum. But platinum is around for about 1/3 of the price. CONSIDER THIS

It's more spicy than woody on my wrist. The black pepper is so dominant. The bottle is cool, but the smell is so-so, just like any Oriflame fragrance for men.

I would describe Platinum as a cross between Kenneth Cole Reaction and DKNY Men 2009... It has a fruity scent but at the same time a more woodsy background. Longevity is better then Reaction, but worse then DKNY Men... Nothing that special. Cool bottle though.
