The exotic homeland of Oscar de La Renta, the Dominican Republic, is a source of inspiration for his gorgeous floral fragrances.
Island Flowers is a harmony of hibiscus and freesia flowers, with fresh citrusy opening of orange and mandarin. The sensual base unites vanilla, cedar and musk. Island Flowers was created in 2006.

Fresh floral smell without too much vanilla (which I like). I mainly wear it in winter. But it still can be worn in summer because it is not very rich or too warm.
Couple of hours later, the middle and base notes make it warmer and very floral. Last long.
Thanks, Jeca. As long as it doesn't smell like the original Oscar which I am not a fan of.
It opens with orange but later hibiscus and freesia flowers come.
Did anybody try this? I would like to know what it smells like. Thanks.
