Oscar de la Renta has created a new summer fragrance, Red Orchid, another in the line of fragrances reminiscent of his exotic homeland, the Dominican Republic.

Red Orchid is a limited edition, just like the other preceding floral, and fruity-floral fragrances of that series. Red Orchid is an opulent scent of seductive red orchid and sunny summer. The red orchid is surrounded by fruity (mandarin, black currant, and blackberry), and woodsy (sandalwood and iris) notes.
It was created in 2007.

Really good fragrance. All such simple notes but they blend so beautifully. It's a fresh and bright scent that turns warm towards the end. I agree with adeline about being a warm berry fragrance.

Interesting, a sparkling berry fest (think dark berries not strawberries) with orchidy notes (so they claim). A warm berry fragrance that I wore in autumn.
