Egyptian Bergamot Rose Pacifica for women

I love this fragrance! Perfectly balanced, to me. I'm so sad it has been discontinued! I have only found a few fragrances I truly love, and that don't bother my asthmatic husband. So disappointing but that's life, right?

This is another really nice (and very decently priced) scent from Pacifica. Very citrusy first on, with slight bitter notes you can get from bergamot. As it dries down, a beautiful, slightly sour rose comes out. This is simple and complex at the same time. I find it to be very well balanced - the amber supports the rose with an earthy warmth, and tempers the tartness, while the citrus gives it a light, sparkling freshness at the top keeping the rose from becoming powdery or dusty. A well-done scent, classic and good for any time of the year (I would prefer this for wear in the evening, but it's okay for day.)

I think this fragrance had me at first sniff! The rose is very clear at first, but it's not a cloying or musty rose, it's a very fresh very greenhouse-y true rose! The amber in this adds a salty note which pairs so beautifully with the crisp and tart citrus notes of orange and bergamot. I think this is a lovely spring scent that mellows into a pretty natural skin scent!
