Four new fragrances from Italian brand G by Paolo Gigli were introduced in spring 2008. They have captured the magic inside their luxurious and unique bottles with 24 karat gold details. In making of these bottles, a special technology in glass manufacturing (3-fire-tech) had been applied and it took few days to finish each bottle. Winds that blow in different directions and carry magic, aromas and scents of various regions, inspired designers in their creation of this collection: Libeccio, Grecale, Schirocco and Maestrale bring new aromas in spring of 2008. Libeccio is mild north – west wind named by a Mediterranean sailor, and it brings us aromas of Libya. It is blended from violet, jasmine, rose and lily at the top, enlarging the spring sensation, with refreshing eucalyptus and mint. In the heart of the perfume there are violet root, accords of juicy white peach and raspberry. Base notes include woody accords of sandalwood and cedar, along with velvet vanilla and warm amber.

Base Notes
It's a slightly woody rose - but mostly it smells like rose soap.
It's fresh, too - but in a grandmotherly sort of way. In sum, Libeccio does not compare favourably to some other Paolo Gigli perfumes I've tried recently.
Today I've tried it again. It is now much colder and the scent playd different. Like it was created for autumn... It is less soapy now and more sophisticated. I could say I like it now. It is very tender, a bit fruty, but with an elegand poudry note. I would definitely wear it again.
Such a wounderfull notes listed in this parfum, but it smells like washing detergent... It is my biggest dissapointment. The parfum is so powdery and dry, that my nose starts to itching when I spray it out. I've tried it on my mum with the hope it will be better, but the result was the same.
