Like all Perfume De Vanille fragrances, this one is also built on two predominant notes: Mandarin and vanilla.

It does have the fresh citric opening of mandarins softened by very sweet vanilla. It'd call it a creamsicle but it's way too warm for that. It has a very uplifting yet sensual quality about it. I got this under $10 and it is worth every penny.

I have tried Cherry Vanilla, Strawberry Vanilla and Tropical Vanilla. I like the Cherry version best, followed by Mandarin Vanilla. Like all the varieties, there is a heavy alcohol initial burst but it settles down quickly. This is somewhat orange creamsicle but I like it. The vanilla is stronger than the orange. None of the Perfume de Vanille fragrances last too long. The cherry seems to be most long-lasting on me. It helps to apply some oil or lotion, immediate spray the fragrance and rub together for more lasting power. I would repurchase the mandarin and Cherry versions if they lasted longer.
