Cedre Sandaraque Parfumerie Generale for women and men

First of all,a big ''thank you'' dear Yerdan for giving me the chance to try it!I am a big fan of vetiver!As Yerdan mentioned below,it does slightly reminds me of L'Artisan parfumeur Tea for Two,although Cedre Sandaraque is much more sweet and not so smoky as Tea for Two!I can't detect any wood when it opens,it's just very sweet,honey like amber which settles down to a rotten grape-honey combination which kills it!I don't get any vetiver or wood,it's just what I described..Lasting power is very good like most of Parfumerie Generale perfumes.If you love sweet-honey based scents then give it a try!

Something between honey and tea is what lingers on my skin after a very promising opening. Very ripe mango, slightly over the top. Except for the opening it reminds me Artisan Parfumeur Tea for two.
The opening is woodier, with some sweet-sour berries. The vetiver is very subdued and gives up soon.
Not my cup of tea. I don't really see this on a man.

Wow... this is what I love!!! At the beginning it is really sweet like caramel buy also dry because of some resins used – like mix of olibanum with honey, very delicious plus some woody base. Than it develops to the beautiful cedre, similar to freshly sharpened pencil. This last for a while and than you can smell dry woody dust still on resinous base. CS is realy amazing fragrance, unique and worth the price. Silage is very good and it last forever. Even after 12h it is prominent skin scent. How to imagine this fragrance – for me best comparison, you are in a new farm house with unpolished, still wet, not completely dried walls, where somebody cooked full of spices gingerbread. House is full of early morning sunlight that warms the air so you can feel very comfortable and cozy. In my opinion this holly grail for wood scents lovers.

Amazing for today's weather it's a snowy breezy superbe winter day -14Celcius.

The cedar comes alive and delicately sweet. This will go in my forever winter scent keeps.

Personally I don't think it would work in the summer the beauty of Cedre is the coldness that becomes warm and the vetiver keeps the warm sharp and controlled. Climate plays a huge factor with this frag, it's not about skin chemistry at all in my opinion.

Dark honey ambered woods with light citrus overtones. Overall sweet impression. Perfect for winter! Larger decant ordered immediately, this is a keeper! ;)

Ahh! Very nice fragrance. It`s a very unique woody spicy gourmand fragrance with high quality ingredients. Very good longevity, and middel sillage. It`s unisex, but more on the masculine side of the scale. It`s one of the best scents from Pierre Guillaume!

Cedre Sandaraque is one of my favorite PG scents. I simply love the smell of fresh cedar nuts with a drop of amber sweetness in it. The base of Cedre sandaraque is very similar to Hermes Vetiver Tonka.
I somehow imagine this fragrance on men rather than on myself. If a man smelling of Cedre Sandaraque passed me by, I would turn around and give him a smile for sure!:)This is a perfect smell for a man!
The staying power is good. Try it, it's worth it!
