Lentisque fragrance was named after the green Mediterranean bush and it was developed by the perfumer Jacques Chabert.
Top notes: lentisque, ambrette seed, jasmine and melon. Heart: orris root and Turkish rose. Base: musk, vetiver and amber.
It is available as 100 ml EDP.

I won a partial bottle of this on ebay - unsniffed - but I liked the sound of the notes, so took my chance...and it has paid off. This is a true floral green, with a big bang of what must be ambrette seed or the lentisque bush itself in the beginning and no discernible florals until they start to ease their way into your nose after about 15 minutes. In the drydown everything blends into one delicious greenish, but almost a powdery green, blend. It does have a slightly herbal base note, but not offensive like a sports rub, more a hint of crushed sage and basil. If you are a fan of floral green, give this one a go, it's different. I like it for its lack of "standout" notes - excellent blending from Parfums 06130. Good sillage and longevity - 6 hours.
