This smells good and soft. A smooth fresh for summer. It stays good.
A very nice fresh clean green scent. i do smell the basil and citruss very cleary with a vetiver note.
the scent does beome more soapy after the top notes fade away a little. very nice smelling scent. It's one of those scents that smell amzing but than the top just fades away too quick. But even without the top notes the scent is very nice. It has a classic vibe with a very modern style If you do like this scent make sure you do try Guerlain homme which i find very nice aswell. sillage for the scent is very little someone has to be close to smell you after the first 1-2 hours. Longevety is between 4-6 hours than close to the skin. As for the bottle design well i will start with the cap who designed the cap, Its a screw style cap that takes way too much time if your in a rush to put something on tah this is not it but is very secure at the same time you dont have to worry about the cap coming off if its in the gym bag. the sprayer is average at most. One of the best paul smith fragrane for men imo. best for spring/summer.
Scent 6.5/10
The opening of this is so sharp and unpleasant and it doesn't improve. I don't get any of the nice sandalwood or violet leaf and would not have known they were fragrance notes.I get predominantly oakmoss and basil, a biting geranium and a lot of vetiver. I normally like vetiver a lot, but not with so much oakmoss. This is very earthy. If you like that, then you'll have no problem with this, it's just not my kind of thing. I was hoping it would be warmer, with more sandalwood and orange.
An underrated fragrance in my opinion. So relaxing with green & fougere notes.A top quality product.
There are very few fragrances that truly impress me, Paul Smith Men is therefore somewhat unique in that it does. That it was Paul Smith’s first attempt in this market is even more daunting and he has never managed to follow it up. Usually an aftershave will bore me after only a few minutes as I find most of them banal, overstated and unsophisticated, often composed as though their true purpose was to hide the scent of sweat rather than be a mark of one’s style and character. The Paul Smith Men is different. It has something summer morning like about it, milky and cool not as in the behavioural meaning of the word, but as in the temperature, it does not try and impose its existence on the world it is subtle, no notes overwhelms any of the others. Olfactory wise it is very different from almost all aftershaves, the Paul Smith Men lacks the clinical fakeness of a laboratory that hangs like the stench of a hangover after most male perfumes it is natural, as though it has taken its ingredients from elsewhere. Comparing it to Dior Fahrenheit as some reviewers have done here is a slur to the sheer finesse Nathalie Lorson and Alain Astori has put into its creation, the Paul Smith Men is of quite a different breed, it does not belong among common sports shampoos from which the Dior Fahrenheit takes its inspiration.
very refreshing to get rid your Monday blues..very fresh indeed. love it
My favorite of all perfume i worn..it is uniquely fresh and green.Similar to Fahrenheit,Dunhill Fresh and Aigner Evolution..that's what i think. But among all of these, Paul Smith is the best (for me)..but a bit poor with longevity.
I use it every Monday when I need something to lift me up and courage me to face all week until the weekend arrives again.
It smells somewhat dull in the bottle but on my husband it warms up and smells heavenly. A really great cross between chanel no 19, grey flannel, coriandre and cashmere mist.
This smells like a cheap shampoo. Not only that, but its boring. Very boring.
But smell is subjective so make up your own mind.
Love it. This would be something i would love to give as a gift to my boyfriend.
Can't wait to smell so good on him.
This smells great on my husband. It works perfectly on him.
Well, i never smell Fahrenheit but for me, Paul Smith Men is very distinctive. It's like walking in an exotic forest and inhale the freshness of it.
Very green and fresh (one of the greenest scents) It's a good fresh clean daytime scent, and this manages to be a bit different! It's linear but a very nice EDT and one the the best greens.
Ok....I am going to agree completely with Beezlebub. This smells practically the same as Farenheit by Dior. Not really much else to say. Apart form the fact that I'm shocked it even got onto the market.
Hmm!!!
a lovely composition with an apple-grassy like effect
grassy, light, green tea with lime...nice spring/summer cologne..simple and cool
This is almost exactly the same as Fahrenheit Dior
