Orange Blossom Penhaligon`s for women

Maybe someone should tell the Penhaligon's nose than less is more?

Orange Blossom is obviously a fragrance with a lot of orange blossom, but there is also a jungle of notes that end up being unrecognisable. A big floral bouquet with everything mixed in it- some spices, some woods, some flowers. But it is a bit messy. There are no phases here, just a bunch of all of those notes mixed together. A floriental scent with some greenery and musk.

It definitely has got the Pehnaligon's pleasant creaminess about it which I absolutely love. But... well, it is not enough to make me like it. There is at least a dozen fantastic orange blossom fragrances I can think of at the moment that do the job a lot better.

This was so disappointing, I was expecting a lovely, feminine neroli scent, but in return I got a bitter and green mess which reminded me of some old school male cologne. Really, the fragrance is not what one could expect from such name. Anyhow, I don't like it. It's too bitter, too messy, too masculine, too rough, too soapy. Sad.

i ordered a decant of this, allthough the notes sounds like it could be sweet, well its NOT :-( tried it on paper and on my skin, IMO it smells like a mulheuns 4711 cologne with some floral notes :'(
such a shame! i had high hopes for this, very dissapionting

Neroli and bergamote are noticeable among the top notes, and the scent is bitter and fresh.
Some minutes later it softens and gets sweeter and soapier, and on my skin I get lots of orange blossom and maybe some rose.
The drydown is quite sweet and musky.

It has very good lasting power and medium sillage.
