With a name like Pino you know there has to be pine in it (the original Pino Silvestre (1955) bottle is green and is actually in the shape of a pine tree), even if pine is not a listed note. This is about the limit to the amount of pine I can take in a cologne (I dislike Polo green, but I like Pino Fifty). It's a pine dominant scent, but not overpowering pine. The pine is smoothed over by the spicy heart and the sweet benzoin-patchouli-sandalwood base. The citrus I get in the opening is a smoothing bergamot that joins with the spices immediately.
It has average sillage and very good longevity. Pino Fifty has a 'formal' aura about it, although I do wear it dressed casual. I like it, especially in the colder weather.
