The opening is very intense. As she struggles deep within the depths of her soul, the warm woody top note haunts her, but only for a moment. The patchouli retains its earthiness, but as she slowly surrenders it becomes soft and deep, melding with a pillowy layer of amber. She finally lets go and allows herself to be.
The perfume is available in 0.5 fl. oz., fragrances are made of 100% pure essential oils. Mix 11 was launched in 2010. The nose behind this fragrance is Jacqueline Clemens.

I am undecided about this fragrance. Usually I love patchouli and find patchouli scents very unisex, but this smells very masculine on me!
I think the somewhat spicy vetiver is interfering a bit on my skin, and the fragrance ends up smelling remarkably similar to Molinard Patchouli, even though the top notes are different and in Molinard Patchouli the spiciness is due to the geranium. But the dry-downs are so similar on me! Soft, powdery, almost floral in a way.

Woody and slightly resinous to open, Mix 11 is soulful yet delicate. Vetiver provides the cleanness to open, while patchouli is like a whispered caress. Amber in the drydown radiates with a mellowed glow giving me that dreamlike feeling again.
I don't know whether Jacqueline Clemens develops her eloquent marketing around her perfumes or if she creates a concept then skillfully recreates the notion in liquid form, but in either event, she's mastered the feeling of peaceful surrender in slow motion. And somehow, Lauryn Hill's version of "Killing Me Softly" comes to mind.
