I like the classic and stylish feel of the scent and the absence of the overwhelming cheap bubble gum sweet wannabe-sexiness of the more modern fragrances. Great for a night or even for certain days when you want to feel glamorous, sexy but sophisticated and mysterious.

I really like the opening - sweet and peppery at the same time, very interesting combination!
I will post the update later:)


OK, the fragrance lasted all night long, i could still smell it in the morning on my wrist. And i liked the dry down - still kinda spicy/sweet, but in a light way, warm.

All together - i like the fragrance and i will definately buy it one day!

Sweet and unusual! I strongly feel clementine peel in it, though it must be a combination of black currant and something else.I used it in wintertime 11 years ago, and it really goes well with the snow, christmas spirit, crispy cold weather.The funny side of it is that being so sweet, it maintains some very fresh notes to it (I blame it on the clementine-peel feeling and ginger).I would not mind trying to wear it again!

wow, can't believe it, it is here:))) I bought it as a present to my mother 1994 while still in my early teens. Sweet,elegant, on the heavier side as I recall. I remember I liked it at the beginning, my mom sort of like it too, but after a while I noticed it started to annoy me a little. I am wondering if my mother genuinely liked it or just spared my feelings...

Marina de Bourbon starts with sweet notes. After 5 minutes, it becomes spicy and later on, quite dry. Pepper notes are really clear to me. Average lasting.
