Subtle...like a summer breeze on a evening in May, rich... like a glass of Chateau D'Yquem from 1972 , sensual...like a waltz in Versaille's Hall of Mirrors , gentle...like a stroke of the finest mink fur , enchanting...like a gentle kiss under the moonlight, eternal...like a frozen moment in time , this creation is and will remain a cornerstone in french perfumery, delivered by the wonderful house of Rance 1795. Although not all their creations have that certain "je ne sais quoi", Le Roi Empereur is definitely one of the most noble scents , that give you a feeling of aristocracy and bon ton. The opening notes may leave you wanting for more, but when it reaches the drydown there's literally no words to describe the beauty and craftmanship of this scent. Moderate sillage and very good longevity, lingering on the skin for hours...Highly addictive. Can also be easily worn by a woman.
As Huxley put it " Beauty is worse than wine, it intoxicates both the holder and beholder ". The same goes for this one of a kind creation !
