This balmy and sweet perfume was dedicated to the Guaiac wood, refreshed by the notes of pink grapefruit with additional aromas of rose, elemi, copaiba balm and cabreuva.

Guaiac is such an intriguing fragrance that opens with lovely, fresh pink grapefruit. Rose is wonderful in combination with this and gives me a feeling of peace and vibrancy.
Elemi is such an unusual note and combines well with grapefruit, as I read that this essential oil in its pure form is a sweet and spicy balsam that's a little reminiscent of dill pickle and citrus! I don't get too much dill but there is a definite herbal facet that's warm--to me it seems like an infusion of dried lemongrass and flecks of bay.
The woods are very delicately smoky and earthy and give a feeling of calm. The layers in this fragrance keep me interested until the end and are uplifting in a peculiar way. Probably not something I'd wear though, but a great, pure and natural experience with some noteworthy elements. Also, I'd call this a woody aromatic as there isn't much of an Oriental feel to Guaiac.
