A reissue of fragrance Inoubliable Elixir Patchouli by French house Reminiscence has been presented in November 2007. It was first launched in 1970.
It is a very feminine and balmy fragrance with oriental-woody olfactive composition, created of Virginian cedar, patchouli from Java, Haitian vetiver, Australian sandalwood, frankincense, vanilla from Madagascar, Tonka beans, Tolu balsam and light musk.

It is available as 100ml (3.4 oz.fl.) parfum elixir in a gold-colored bottle presented on the picture and as 50ml (1.7 oz.fl.), 100ml (3.4 oz.fl.) and 200ml (6.8 oz.fl.) EDT, with matching body care products – body cream elixir (200ml), deodorant (100ml), shower gel and body lotion (150ml) and Satinee oil (100ml).

I swear, this stuff smells exactly like those cherry licor bonbons! Fruity-jammy-rich-chocolate-patchouli. Rather like Tom Fords whatsit, Black Orchid, though perhaps a little less dense and sweet.
The patch is very hidden underneath that truckload of thick sweet notes, but it is there and starts peeking out more as the scent progresses. It's not a dirty patch by any standards, and I find myself quite liking this.

It is very oriental and relaxes me.

I have tested it today - it is "very woody" and "very moss-i" perfume, smells like a moist air in the forest, on the early summer morning after a long, long rain... On my skin this perfume is warm and its Patchouli-earthyness gets sweetish (Vanilla and Tonka Bean). It seems to be "the most wet aroma", that I have ever tested. A fantastic dark-forest smell.
