In 2008 Reminiscence has presented the first two fragrances of its "Les Notes Gourmandes" collection - Do Re and Mi Fa. They are created by late Zoé Coste of Reminiscence and Jacques Flori of Robertet and represent the analogy of fragrant, gourmand and musical notes.
Mi Fa is the second fragrance in the collection. Its rhythm is built on the gourmand sweet marshmallow, surrounded by bergamot, mandarin, neroli, ozone, almond, lavender, rosemary, mint, petitgrain, jasmine, black pepper, velvety vanilla, sandal wood and sensual musk. Mi Fa comes as EDT in a pink 100ml (3.4 fl.oz.) bottle.
Mi Fa was created by Zoe Coste and Jacques Flori.

I thought I would like this, but to me it has a certain disharmony of notes. If you want a gourmand perfume from this line, I would rather recommend Si Do - it's soft and beautiful and more interesting in my opinion.
Sniffed this recently on a trip to Paris and had to have it. What a lovely, wafting gourmand this is! I didn't have to put it on my skin to know it was love. It's a red velvet cake minus the chocolate - light, fluffy and airy. Sweet and girlie, a chic Parisian find! This is what I like to refer to as a high end marshmallow or cotton candy. So much more mature than Aquolina's Pink Sugar; they don't compare. If you want to smell sweet, love gourmands and don't want to smell like your local State Fair (not that I have a problem with this at all, but I know some others do) or risk smelling too young, give this European treasure a whirl.
Wow,this is so,lovely and sweet,it gives me a good feeling, the fragrance does remember me at my childhood, and it's feminine enough to wear it all day long, and i love this bottle.
Klonk and Spohywt are right. I also smell a soft cotton candy. To me, this perfume is a softer version of Pink Sugar (not exactly the same) but I see similairities. It is a nice fragrance though, but very expensive. It is nice and sweet and fun, but if you are looking for this kinda fragrance, just give Pink Sugar a try. You will save yourself a lot of money.
I didnt get to the cotton candy part because of the strong synthetic smell before the drydown. I think it was the combo of jasmine neroli and musk. It was pretty nasty. And waaaaaay too expensive to have any issues.. And I too could not get this off. Too bad :( The bottle sure is pretty.
I recently give it a full try.
Agree with klonk, for the first several hours, it makes me feel like "have a bath with cotton candy", very sweet but it won't choke you up even in the hotest summer day - another good news for gourmand fans. And as I apply same quantity(about 5 sprays), Mi Fa doesn't turn to almond bitterness as Do Re. The drydown is well balanced, not too vanilla nor too patchouli.
Pure cotton candy on my skin (or marshmellow as described above). Did not get any other notes than that. Very, very sweet and gourmand. I think it is a girly scent for summer. The staying power is great (could not wash it of as easy as I liked...)!
