Amber Renee for women

This is really lovely. It is rich but it also has a balance of coolness provided by the ginger, tea and cardamom. Some ambers are just too overbearing, but this is really just right for me.

I must say I did not like the opening of Amber, indeed I did not. It was much too spicy and austere for my tastes due to a combination of raw root ginger and some other powdery spice (probably cardamon looking at the notes now).

As time progressed, it rounded out and became softer, sweeter. The most beautiful aroma began to waft up around me. But when I went in for a closer sniff I was again smacked hard by the spices.

One thing is for certain though, this is like nothing else I have smelt and I certainly appreciate Renee's originality here. I imagine if I were a greater devotee of spicy perfumes I would also fancy this perfume much more than I do.

This is an amazing fragrance! I was looking all over for a simplistic amber fragrance when I stumbled upon Amber by Renee. I fell in love with its richness and its subtle hints of ginger throughout the fragrance. In some fragrances ginger is not done well, but I can safely say that Renee has done it justice.

It's a rather strong and long-lasting fragrance, and I can imagine myself wearing this during Winter or during the night-time. As a definite Oriental this fragrance is a bold and dominating blend of amber, spices, white tea and ginger.

This is a fantastic buy for those of you that love Oriental fragrances or are simply lovers of amber.
