Maharishi is a gentle, alluring and spiritual fragrance of vetiver and spiritual flowers of India. Available as organic perfume in bottles of 15 ml.
Maharishi was launched in 2005. The nose behind this fragrance is Nannette Pallrand.
Like everything else from RH, this one starts out with an overload of citrus - lemon, litsea cubeba, and/or lemongrass in this case, making it smell exactly like a functional scent for a cleaning product. If there are notes of vetiver, davana, and mixed florals in this, they are all obscured by the harsh and overpowering lemon. After a while I imagine that maybe I can smell the fruity-aromatic note of davana, but the lemon is still the main player. Maharishi is yet another egregiously overpriced citrus-based cologne from this company.
