R.V. Homme is a one of a kind signature fragrance. Masculine and urban, R.V. starts with sharp, herbaceous black coffee and French lavender, then smooths down into waves of citrus notes, metallic hyacinth, earthy cannabis, floral jasmine, tobacco absolute, worn leather, patchouli, and exquisite oudh. R.V. Homme Extrait de Parfum was launched in 2011. The nose behind this fragrance is Rob Denton.
This is a great perfume. It is natural, with no chemicals added. It starts bright, I can feel the presence of lavander, then the dryness of leather, coffee and some hints of dark chocolate (apparently it is not on the composition, but I feel it). Some minutes later, it becames more cold, and a metalic note comes up. It is also very smoky and we can feel that patchouli is always present. It is a dry/cold perfume, with a hidden warm sweetness. Good sillage.
I bought it on internet and Rob Denton is very kind.
