I just received this cologne today. So far so good, I like it. This is my first floral/tea-based frag. It's sort of strong, but it posseses a nice, spicy smoky tea overtone/with flowers. If you like Yang and other tea based frag., maybe you should try this out.

The perfumers who created VV MAN are Illias Ermenidis and Francis Deleamont. Ermenidis created Givenchy Pour Homme and Tommy Bahama Very Cool among others. Deleamont is the creator of Boucheron Pour Homme and Boucheron Jaipur Pour Femme. VV MAN is very much a fresh, aquatic and woody scent along the same lines as the aforementioned Givenchy Pour Homme and similar in many ways to Bvlgari Aqva. This is a superbly crafted fragrance.

The notes pyramid shown here includes cardamom, pepper, and civet. I detect nothing spicy in VV MAN and definitely nothing even remotely animalistic. I like cardamom and pepper but utterly detest any type of fecal or urine notes. I would have immediately rejected VV MAN had I sensed those type notes in it. They aren't there.

What I do smell is best described as a mild fruitiness from the honeydew in the opening that stays with this fragrance pretty much throughout its lifespan. I really savor that cucumber-melon type aroma. The melon in VV MAN does not come across as synthetic or metallic. Instead, I get the sensation of ripe honeydew with all its sweet juiciness bursting open nearby. Add some light florals in the heart followed by warm sandalwood and mildly sweet patchouli in the dry down. If you like Givenchy Pour Homme and Bvlgari Aqva, you will love this fragrance.

There is no heaviness with VV Man. It wears close to the skin, is entirely inoffensive, fresh, and perfect for the office. Yet it is light enough for warm weather and recreational wear. I would even wear it at the beach. Everyone who has smelled it on me loves it. I highly recommend VV Man.

My husband wears it, its a very strong and sexy fragrance, i suugest it must be tried ..smells expensive
