French house of Romea D`Ameor introduced a collection of seven perfumes, which were inspired by secrets of beauty of famous women who played an important role and marked the history. These women are charismatic and radiate in full beauty. The perfumes were created in cooperation with perfumer Pierre Bourdon and they were named: The Princess of Venice, The Great Inca Priestesses, The Mistresses of Louis XIV, The Sovereigns of Egypt, The Great Empresses of Japan, The Secret Heroines of the Tsar, The Taj Mahal’s Eternal Love.
This perfume was created to capture youthful feeling and thoughts, and to contribute to quality of life. It opens with sparkling notes of grapefruit and bergamot, with melon and black currant, adding aromas of crushed, fresh leaves, lily of the valley and sea breeze aromas. A heart blooms with beautiful blue lotus Taj Mahal, strengthened with rose and jasmine, while base notes await us with iris, vetiver, raspberry, peach, vanilla and sensual musk. The Taj Mahal’s Eternal Love was launched in 2008.

Although Roméa D'Améor LES GRANDES AMOURS DU TAJ MAHAL is supposed to feature Lotus Bleu (translated as Taj Mahal water lily), what I smell smacks more of a peony frag. It may be that both water lily and peony are present in this composition, but the latter certainly dominates and makes this a somewhat humdrum floral fragrance to my nose. So many peony frags, so little desire to wear any of them! Désolée. 3.29.11
This is my favourite of the Romea line and I tried them all. A delightful fruity floral, not totally original or groundbreaking but lovely and easy to wear anytime really, I bought the FB.
I initially get floral notes, sea notes and a slight grapefruit citrus note... It definitely screams 'fruity floral' composition... It's nice, well balanced, but not particularly interesting or unique... I prefer Bleu Riviera by Fragonard...
I guess it's quite expensive perfume, at least in my country it costs more than 300$. I catch a smell of a ripe melon, raspberry and blackcurrant in gentle flowers. I use it for daytime and in the summertime, because it's light and comfortable as a natural smell of a fresh beautiful female body. The smell is quite good, espessialy if you like melon in perfume.
Oh yes, I am curious about this one too, it's not expensive (about 25E), but it seems to be a good and quality perfume.
Would love to try this one.
Sounds divine.
