Fragrant trio, which was named after gems, was presented in 2008, in cooperation with Estee Lauder and Sarantis Group from Greece, as well as with perfumers of famous hoses IFF, Firmenich and Givaudan. This was the first time that the house of Estee Lauder invested in mass-market. The perfumes were named Blue Opal, Ruby and Purple Diamond.
Blue Opal was created in cooperation with Firmenich. It expresses spirituality and balance, while introducing notes of watermelon and red berries in top, and lily and rose petals in heart. Base notes introduce moist leather accords. The perfume is available as 30 and 75 ml EDT and it aims at younger audience.

This is a really good cheap perfume, I love it! Mostly fruity with a little bit floral, I had no idea that this had leather as a note until I read it here. Watermelon, the sea and soapy roses. The fragrance spray has a bit of an oily feel that I don't like on my clothes, but I can get over it. It's very fresh and sweet, maybe a little sporty.
MISTAKE MADE! There is no lily in this fragrance, it's supposed to be listed as Lilac!
made by Firmenich for Estee Lauder massmarket production...? ok, translation: a perfume for poor people who wanna catch a whiff of what they would never be able to reach themselves for true? which generousity from Estee Lauder indeed - at first sight i'm impressed! ;P
the aroma of the scent is nice but you can smell and feel that Estee didn't wanted to be finally that generous to pack real luxe in a cheap bottle:
it's very soft, more like a bodysplash than a fragrance but it lasts quite well near the skin.
I bought it for the funny plastic bottle with 'floating' jelly balls in it and i m quite surprised how nice it smells:
a refreshing sweet-sour fruit splash seddles down to a fruity-floral mix, like you're sitting in a pool of fresh and clean water coming right away from a sparkly waterfall, surroundet by floating powdery creamy petals. you're eating a peace of juicy melon and fresh sweet-sour red berries picked from a bush near by.
faint hints of (synthetic) leather-aroma detectable on the base, but is't not plasticy at all for good! quite likeable for/after sports or just casual though.
a not very complex, linear scent, the slightly sweet fruity splash is detectable from top to bottom.
funny handy bottle to carry in the purse and reapplie several times during the day.
due the notes i would love to try the purple one too.
I only get a really nice aquatic fresh floral scent here with a grape-like berries. It gets a bit plasticky or artificial but it's ok. The leather is nowhere to be found unless it is sitting too far in the back. Don't expect the rose and leather to make this scent sophisticated as berry/lily aquatic feel has the majority vote here. I got it's for $2! for 30mL, so this is in my collection as a fun scent; nothing luxurious at all. Dont take it too serious.
This is very cool! It comes in a cylinder clear plastic container. It's a great color blue! The inside is filled with gell balls, that look so fabulous, and it's a spary kind. Smells intense, but isn't at all strong. <3
how fresh and how fruity!it's very sweet with nice hint of fruits and aquatic notes of course.
I didn't expect anything lower than this from IFF.even those who don't like aquatic perfumes, will like this one.
the colors are incredible for 3 different fragrances.it's not only for teenagers, but everybody who feels young at heart can use it easily.
it's sportive and perfect for the summer, but while it's sweet it can be worn in spring or fall too.
the opals in the box make the sense of being under water.
some people call it cheap, but I think it's a very good aquatic perfume.
