Pyxis (for women and men)
Designer: Scents of Time Olfactive Group: Woody Chypre"Reconstruction from materials found, as with Pyxis, derived from floral, herbal and spice spores found in the garden of a perfumer, believed to be called Sperato, at Pompeii. These, along with substances garnered from the four corners of Empire, re-created Pyxis. A pixie fresco on the wall at the House of the Vetii in Pompeii gave the fragrance its name" (Scents of Time)
Pyxis is a recreation of a fragrance from Pompeii. A Mediterranean melange of citrus, fruity herbal head notes softened with a rose-jasmine accord embedded with powdery, sensual notes of incense varieties intermingling with a blend of woody notes. A combination of flowers and fruits from his garden.
This fragrance is now available in 100ml bottles, but in September it will also be available in 50ml bottles and sets of two fragrances of 50ml.
David Pybus worked on this perfume together with the English perfumer Michael Evans.
