Zen Eau de Parfum 2010 is a new limited edition arriving in a cyclamen-purple flacon, ideal for spring-summer of 2010. This summer fragrance reflects the essence of summer night while wrapping you with beautiful scents of exotic flowers on a base composed of sensual musk, cedar and warm amber.
The fragrance opens with luminous accords of citruses and gentle tart and green accords of yuzu playing with crystal clear floral notes of lily of the valley and freesia. A heart of Zen Eau de Parfum blossoms with petals of sweet flowers (tuberose and jasmine). Their combination seduces with a sweet floral trail, while a base reveals musk, cedar and amber. This time the flacon reflects harmony of body and soul, as well as harmony of ingredients and theme of the fragrance. This summer night in an exotic cyclamen-purple package will be available on the market from spring 2010.

Very very soapy fragrance, reminds me of freshly-shampooed hair. If you like clean, strong, soapy scents, ZEN is perfect for you.
Just ordered a bottle. Blind purchase going off notes and reviews :)
What I'm hoping for is a somewhat creamy (not too creamy) foral fruit... with only hints of friut, I'm thinking I will smell a beautiful jasmine and a bit of tuberose with a slight tropical twist I'm also of course imagining it has decent to good staying power
I'll keep everyone updated :D
I just love that fragrance. I connected with it the moment I tried it on my skin. It is simply ME. ;)))
While I'm not such a fan of the "regular" Zen, I am quite in love with the special edition. I can't wait for spring and summer to arrive, because this is the perfect companion for the sunny seasons.
Adorable! Just tried on my skin, the smell is delicious, couldnt stop sniffing my arm.
Floral tropical, perfect for hot weather. The kind of smell that put me on a good mood.
Where can i buy this? I don't see any is in pink bottle from eBay.
Just another tropical scented sun tan lotion. I wouldn't say it's that bad, but I just would not buy it.
i did tryed yestarday for a test and i like it , its not so strong , i think its vil be good for a summer days, i still can smell it on my jacket tha mean its long lasting.
I have to say, the packaging is gorgeous. I would love to have a sparkling purple cube on my shelf, so possibly that's why I tested this at the Shiseido store (despite not liking the other Zen fragrances I've tried).
This is a straight-up floral on my skin. The lime and orange notes, if they're there, are almost invisible. I get a whole lot of jasmine and freesia, which I like. However, as with the Zen Summer and plain old Zen. . . there is something very synthetic about the florals as they develop. I'm very conscious that I'm wearing a perfume, and it doesn't evoke any special feelings or ideas that I can translate into words.
I don't think I could really invest in this one, but it's inoffensive and very fresh for summer.
This is the far best summer perfume that I have ever had. :) two thumbs up. I love the smell. Feel light and fresh when Im wearing it. This is THE fragrance for me.
IMO
tropical? kinda
creamy? yes
summery? kinda
sexy? no
good? no
it's just boring. if you want a summery, sexy tropical fragrance there are lots of other options. you can pass this one immediately. it will be only you who can smell this thing when you're wearing it and you won't feel very good nor proud during the time.
starts with florals which i'm not very into but i know that you need some florals in every fragrance so i don't mind them. after they go away, you are stuck with this sticky creamy smell on your skin mixed with fruits. and you wait for it to get better cause it gives you hope but unfortunately it doesn't develop into any other thing. i love creamy and i definitely love tropical scents that take you away to those blue beaches with white sand. but this for me is not one of them.
i don't hate it, but i don't like it for sure.
I agree with Elizabeth M. - tropical, but for me rather a tropical drink :)
The bottle is very beautiful. I love the simple shape and rich colours.
The fragrance is more on the floral than fruity side - a bit soapy from the beginning. I got a fruity-floral accord the moment I sprayed it, but couldn't detect specific notes. The middle notes come quickly and don't leave easily. The drydown for me is ambery with a floral creamy touch.
I'm not a lover of tuberose so ... I like original Zen much better. This one also smells a bit artificial for me. And even for summer nights - it's too heavy for my taste.
But I must admit - it does have staying power and sillage.
Tested this one today by chance. Normally I am not into tuberose based fragrances as they don't fit with my skin chemistry. Most of them tend to by overwhelming and cloying - but - Zen Eau de Parfum has been a pleasant surprise. It is a bit sweet and creamy but in a good way. It evokes the atmosphere of a tropical night somewhere on a caribean island - Luscious!
It's a tipical floral scent, sweet. Not similar Zen edp. It's perfect for summer night! I'll buy a bottle...
