Hungry Hungry Hippies Smell Bent for women and men

Wonderful, EXTREMELY appetizing actually. sweet brownie batter, and unmistakable Cannabis buds.... mmm spine tingling combination. It's masculine, to say the least. Mixes surprisingly well with my own body smells, as Cannabis is sometimes described as having a Terpinoid like resinous Armpit like smell, but not at all unpleasant. This is an eccentric, artistic fragrance,VERY well done, perfectly captured tinctures. VERY strong and totally worth it.

Some of the Smell Bent compositions smell like fragrances for comics characters. They're funny, colourful and not too serious. Hungry Hungry Hippies could be a scent worn by a character from Gilbert Shelton's The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers. It opens with a bizarre chocolate and cannabis combo where the former is leaning towards the cocoa and latter is a tremendously realistic and very resinous interpretation of the dried plant (yes, I smelled it). A strong "head shop" patchouli bends all together in such a bizarre, kinda gourmandic fragrance that's delightfully funny and very nice. Reasonably priced.

Definitely something not to wear while flying back from Nepal or Morocco, unless you want to stuck at the customs for a deep inspection.

Wow, I just began exploring the Smell Bent catalogue and this is a HIT for me. The first whiff is overwhelmingly earthy...it smells of a dreadlocked hippie who just smoked his third joint of the day. The drydown...the earth tones down...mmm, patchouli....and then some of the richest chocolate I have ever had the pleasure of smelling. The sillage is nice and long-lasting. I will absolutely buy this again.

Blissful, and so unusual. I can definitely smell the cannabis, but because it is so well blended with the dark, burnt chocolate it doesn't really smell like you've been smoking it, which might get you into trouble in public, but more like you have been burping it! This definitely brings back the smell of the good (?) old hippie days.

Hungry Hungry Hippies starts with a burst of real dark chocolate smell, and soon gets some delicious cinnamon-y but not really cinnamon scent added in. It is potent, and delicious stuff with some earthy patchouli hint in the background; somehow it makes me think of Christmas time, fireplace, and a lot of sweet comfy food. The cannabis? I cannot smell much of it here; I would say…it smells like 1/10 the strength of a typical Space Cake you can get from Amsterdam, which doesn’t really smell much of the real cannabis. Yea, I agree with jonovon, it smells like slightly burnt brownie.

Later on, Hungry Hungry Hippies turns into something like the mild patchouli/ the transition phase of TM Angel’s start ‘armpit’ smell and the sweet, more developed typical Angel smell, mixed with a lot of dark chocolate. Somehow the dark chocolate gourmand factor really reminds me a lot of In Black by J.D P, and as time goes by, it just smells like In Black with a tiny tiny bit of smokey patchouli.

The dry down is like the middle phase plus a swirl of a really tamed version of the incense-y, smoky smell from Tabu, or Opium, which is actually quite charming, and much more elegant than the food-y aspect of Hungry Hungry Hippies.

DEEEEEEP dark chocolate and earthy patchouli - where Fresh "Cannabis Santal" wanted to go but didn't dare!

Chocolate smells a little burnt, like a brownie left in the oven just a bit too long. Also it's more of a powdered cocoa than a greasy one. I'd just love it to have a noticeable cannabis note. Well, the patchouli used here gives this scent a brute, artisanal feel that few scents around have. What you'll get is chocolate and patchouli, and that's it. This perfume is not exactly classy or elegant, but has that chic and cool found in simplicity.

I find Hungry Hungry Hippies to be in the same category of A*Men and Very Irrésistible (because of the gourmand aspect), but way less sweet and more earthy than both, and not as cloying as A*Men can be if overused. If you like these two scents by Mugler and Givenchy, you should definitely give Hungry Hungry Hippies a try. I myself prefer it over those two.

How do I apply the oil, knowing that I live in a perennial warm weather?
First I shake the bottle thoroughly, then I just dab one very little drop on my left wrist with the glass wand.Then I press my right wrist against the left one, then rub both wrists like behind the ear and on the chest, and the inside of the elbows. I find oil perfumes don't lose quality with the rubbing.

The cannabis and chocolate both are very chemical but the earthy patchouli is right on.
