Totem Eclipse Smell Bent for women and men

Having ventured out into the cedar swamp bogs in the spring, I think I can describe the aroma of skunk cabbage. It is animalic, musky, raw but not cat peeish or ammonia smelling. it's more fetid and almost... glandular? It does bear some resemblance to meat. But yes, a very skanky dirty note; those of you who like civet or other similar notes will probably like it. It does not smell 'swampy' or of methane or sulfur. Rotting decay of moist woods? yeah that's pretty close, but with less wood and more animalic decay. hopefully they used a judicious hand with this, as too much would turn people off.

Sorry, this doesn't smell like the forest.
It smells like the bark mulch section at the nursery on a nice, sunny day after months of rain. It's good smelling bark mulch, though.

My precious little bottle arrived from Smell Bent today - I really enjoyed trying this one and was super disappointed that it didn't last more than 2 hours on me. It has the raw, earthy, wet smell that particularly appeals to me - never having smelled skunk cabbage but on reading the details, you can definitely detect a bit of "off", rotting swampy note in this. The only touch of sweetness is offered by the hint of musk. Oh please, Brent, work on the longevity!
