Love Speaks Primeval is a modern, natural version of the classic chypre fragrance with upper notes of bergamot and the base of oak moss. Composition is dominated by roses (Bulgarian, centifolia, Bourbon) followed by notes of violet flower, pink lotus and jasmine. Labdanum, patchouli and wood notes are in the base. There are also notes of hyacinth, apples and Mexican vanilla.
It is available as 4.5 to 15 ml perfume.

For some reason, probably based on reviews that I had read somewhere, I was expecting this to be really skanky. Imagine my surprise when the first thing I smelled was a strong rose along with some citrus. I think there’s also a generous pinch of cumin and/or coriander in there, but nothing at all animalic. Maybe the cumin is what people find skanky, but to me it just smells spicy. The scent lasts about 4-5 hours, with moderate sillage, not bad for an all-natural perfume. Toward the end it starts smelling like spicy baking cookies.
