This fragrance is inspired by the great classic perfumes of the past.
Perfume Notes: Aldehydes, Indian jasmine sambac absolute, Bulgarian rose absolute, mimosa absolute, peach, violet flower, violet leaf absolute, tonka, French beeswax absolute, natural oakmoss absolute, aged Indian patchouli, East Indian Mysore sandalwood, leather, vanilla, orris, myrrh, vetiver, and musk. Nostalgie was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Laurie Erickson.

This came with my sample box of SSS perfumes, and it is absolutely blissful, with beeswax and aldehydes being the very noticeable top notes, but also containing what I would call "powdered flowers". If all the pretty flowers in the world were dried and ground, this would be the result. Extremely long-lasting, doesn't change in the drydown, and I am so impressed with this wonderful fragrance house. One can imagine this being the Chanel No. 5 of the late 1800's, where ladies were feminine and proud to be so. IMO it's a classic, and well named. For me, it is going to be full bottle worthy. 10/10
