Opal Sonoma Scent Studio for women and men

On me it is pure musk and I am not fan of pure musk. There are numerous oil perfumes that I've tried and they smell very similar (some of them practically the same) like Opal.

Too bad I cannot feel bit of top notes.

Thanks to a wonderful swap partner I got a chance to try this scent. Oh my! it is fantastic! At first I thought it might be a little too sweet-the vanilla really sings out loud at first. But it dries down to this gorgeous woody spice. Stays very close to the skin-I just kept getting wafts of this warm vanilla.
This is listed as a floral woody musk-as someone who hates floral scents I can say I smelled NO floral notes whatsoever.

A charming skin scent, soft and comforting. As promised, there are no plasticy musks here. Two other potentially heavy-hitters--bergamot and sandalwood--stay on best behavior from first spritz to drydown. For the first ten minutes the vanilla stands out, but never in a high-pitched, gourmand way.

Smooth, silky , balanced, lovely, long lasting. And what makes Opal the Holy Grail of soft musks for me is that it never goes powdery.

It is a very light and cosy and safe perfume, very intimate and stays close to a skin. It's vanillic component makes it velvety and warm. The spices warm it up so that vanilla is not too sweet. It is like a soft warm blancket which surrounds us on a fresh winter morning.
