Capriccio Sospiro Perfumes for women

Sospiro is the subsidiary company of XerJoff. XerJoff is known for high quality perfumes. You can smell how expensive the ingredients they used to create the fragrances are. XerJoff is the high end of the niche market. Now we get Sospiro. The purple velvet flakon suggests a more feminine fragrance collection and Capriccio IS quite feminine:

The top notes are a little fruity with lots of synthetic musk and sheer patchouli (not the dark and earthy/chocolate-y kind of patchouli). No lime and no neroli either. Short after the opening, a soft rose appears and mixes with the musk and patchouli. And that's it! Yup, Capriccio has no discernible drydown. No Oud, no Sandalwood, no Amber... nothing! I was really disappointed, at this price point I expect a fragrance to be a little bit more complex. But all you get is laundry musk, clean patchouli, soft rose and subtle fruits. Capriccio could be the younger sister of For Her by Narciso Rodriguez! For Her is much more edgy than Capriccio, wich turns out to be a harsh and bland little concoction.

Sospiro's Capriccio is for all the rich sheiks and their women who don't buy perfume because they smell good. Capriccio is for those who only buy the most expensive they can find, regardless of how good the fragrance really is. I hope the rest of the line is better.
