Really shame on L`Oreal because ever since they bought the Body shop vast majority of those funky perfume oils (some better some worst) disappeared from their shelves. The body shop is now yet another boring absolutely uniform chain of shops... and used to have such a diversity branch from branch... Now they put up on the wall behind the tills all sorts of ethical statements but basically ruined the brand.
Same as BBW's Moonlight Path and Prince Matchabelli's Fresh White Musk. Same exact fragrance. Very nice and fresh.
I don't think this smells like Escape though they're both aquatic scents (Escape is peachy and alot sharper, 'detergent-like' in comparison, irritating to me)...this one is quite soft and the scent does bring to mind the ocean...it smells clean and serene, soapy with a mild floral sweetness and just a tinge of something in-discernibly fruity. It makes you want to sit alone by the sea early at dawn and contemplate the meaning of life. It's a beautiful scent especially in oil formulation, very long-lasting on the skin, and I really miss it :( It was my favorite Body Shop scent growing up.
My best friend used to wear this and let me borrow some. It worked well for both of us and I loved it. If I got a whiff of it now, it would surely bring back memories.
Shame it's not available anymore in stores, though. At least not where I live.
Yep, this one really does smell of salt sea and spray! Maybe a bit of a clumsy interpretation (bit like a cheaper escape) but it has something that makes you feel happy and nostalgic. Definately only for summer daytime wear!
You can't wear this all the time though, as it has little depth and personality, a bit like a demeter frag.
I really loved this scent, very fresh and clean. I don't think it's available anymore.
One of the best, if not the best aquatic scent available to me, and I have smelled plenty, but this is the one I keep coming back to, not just because it's inexpensive, but also for its purity. I love how soft, calming and gentle it is without being flat or boring. It is fresh and clean, but yet also smooth, nostalgic and feminine. Also very 'beachy' ofcourse, reminiscent of the ocean during the wee hours just before dawn when everything is calm and peaceful except for the waves that roll onto the shores, as if alive. Because it evokes in my mind the peacefulness of the oceanfront and glimmering seas during the dark hours, I feel that it is also suitable as a night time fragrance perfect for summer nights (the oil, not the EDT), or a fragrance to use for bedtime.
I can't imagine how anyone can dislike a scent as soft and as inoffensive as this one. I personally prefer the perfume oil over the EDT, and I love layering the scent with the body lotion and shower gel.
my mom had this, i remember it as a lovely pick me up scent. and it is verrry long lasting. i don't see this scent offending anyone.
perfect for a carefree day at the beach or a very hot day
I have 2 favourites from Bodyshop: the discontinued BeLeaf and Oceanus. But I prefer the EDT spray.
This is a fantastic fresh slightly sweet beachy ocean smell. Its just perfect forf summer days, and it smells fab in winter (i mix it with TBS vanilla oil) Its very versatile and great on its own.
my fav perfumme from body shop. i like it. so fresh and very aquatic and clean
This is my all time favourite daytime fragrance.....
Overpowering aquatic scent. Perhaps if the aquatic notes were toned down a bit, it would be easier to take. I don't know what it is about aquatic perfumes that always seem excessive to me.
im not sure if i like this anymore it smells too sweet, its overpowering and it makes me feel sick
this is my favorite perfume. i live in palm beach- south florida. becuse of when i live i can wear it all year long everyday. it fits my atmosphere and it is fun and beautiful.
