Inspired by travels, The Scent of Departure collection captures and embody the most intimate essence of a city in a bottle. Composed by Gérald Ghislain perfume creator, The Scent of Departure fragrances are the result of a long work of reflexion and creation, using the finest raw materials. Each perfume explores the most vibrant facets of a city in a subtle olfactory memento which distils faraway stories as you wear and experience them. Travel, scents and design ingenuity are woven together to create an evocative experience.

A walk from the peaceful Danube - banks full of enchanting scents of fresh mint, cut grass and water flowers - to an outdoor breakfast in the Palace garden of Belveder. Enjoy the garden's baroque atmosphere and the gourmand scents of Wien’s pastries, delicious with their gourmand notes of vanilla, liquorice, chocolate and coffee. A blend of scents, bewitching like a Strauss waltz at Schönbrunn Palace.

I still say the idea is so inventive though I haven't even seen the bottles yet. But the video ads and the main idea don't lead me to the city; it merely conduct me to the concept of trip, travel, airplane, airport and Duty Free shops; I mean the thing I think is home and not destination. But if the scent is fit so well on the cities, it can be a nice souvenir.
After Istanbul, I impatiently wait for this one.
