Tocca Beauty presents romantic eau de perfumes which take us for a fragrant journey to northern Italy. Amalfi, Catania and Salina arrive in cylindrical flacons coloured in blue, golden and violet nuances, with golden stoppers and perfume name and brand written on the transparent flacons.
The journey begins on the north of Italy, where sea breezes caress jasmine and violet flowers. Intoxicating scents of pastry from Catania attract with vanilla, along with lily of the valley and sandalwood, while floral waves of freesia, joined by juiciness of peach and apple await us at the end of fragrant vacation on the island of Salina.
Salina is the third fragrance of the collection, created as a sweet, floral and fresh fragrance. It incorporates aromas of cloves, orange, greenery, violet freesia, iris, peach, raspberry and musk. All three perfumes from the collection Aqua Profumata arrive in amount of 100ml. Aqua Profumata Salina was launched in 2009.

Who knows why, but Tocca AQUA PROFUMATA SALINA opens to my nose as a cool crisp apple scent which swiftly transforms into a nice light clean musky floral scent that dries down with a touch of peach. In higher concentration, this would make a nice fruity floral perfume. At this cologne concentration, it's not very memorable and reminds a bit of something from the mid-level Victoria's Secret fragrances--not as chemically as the Secret Garden collection, but also not as nice as the Parfums Intimes. SALINA is just a likeable mid-range everyday fruity floral body spray best suited as a spritzer during summertime.
The compositions of these Aqua Profumata are complex enough to be perfumes, but they are offered at a very low concentration and the development of each of the combinations of notes is compressed into a very short period of time. I'd like to try any of the three members of this collection at an edp concentration.

Beautiful fragrance. Still trying how to attach the bottle to me somehow so I may CONSTANTLY re-apply it. I waited a long time to buy this--and love--LOVE-the fragrance--for the 34 seconds I can smell it. *sigh* It is a very expensive body splash.

A beautiful freesia fragrance...it really does stand out in this light spring/summer scent. Has a very romantic feel to it...It doesn't last all day...but I don't mind touching it up.

Now this is a great disappointment!
The fragrance itself could be pretty - if only I could smell it! I tried the sample today and when I didn't get anything (and I mean ANYTHING AT ALL) when decent amount applied to my wrist, I have poured the whole content of the sample all over my hands/arms/neck and all I got is very, very faint peachy smell when I press my nose directly on my skin! Hadn't I received the sample from a source with good reputation, I would swear that someone diluted the fragrance...ehm...like 1:100. Or else - I would have to think that it's some kind of prank!
This way...I guess I will have to believe that it's my chemistry that somehow makes the fragrance completely disappear...

What a pretty fragrance. I smell the orange and the green notes giving this a bit of freshness. I can't say I pick up the clove notes. Seems like a good fragrance for a hot day.
