The house of Tommy Hilfiger has announced and introduced perfume pair Summer for summer 2009 in new colours and compositions. They were inspired by beaches of California, by a day spent resting, enjoying and playing sports, as well as by an evening by the fire on the beach.

Fragrance for women Tommy Summer Girl 2009 includes a cocktail of aromas of currant bud and leaf, mandarin, delicate and aquatic freesia, with rose and sandalwood accords. It is available as 100 ml EDT, as a limited edition.

I saw it at Marshalls, but I didn't buy it - it smelled too much like something I already had & I agree nothing very special. Nice enough though... I did find it rather fresh smelling.

i just tested it today on paper...was very disappointing...the start is fruity but like peach and strawberry...never smelled the mandarin...and then goes very woody...not fresh at all...and the notes are very mixed...nothing especial...
