Essenza del Tempo by Trussardi is fragrance for women and men. The nose behind this fragrance is Sophie Labbe. Top notes are bergamot, amber, carrot seeds and ginger; middle notes are flower petals and iris; base notes are coffee beans, balsamic vinegar and Virginia cedar.

This woody, powdery composition is placed inside a very elegant bottle, which is decorated with a false leather ribbon to show the tradition of the brand Trussardi. A symbol of a clock with Roman number is engraved in the back side of the bottle, which is a metaphor of time. It is also engraved in the metal top of the perfume and on the upper part of the box which contains the perfume.

The perfume is available as 50, 100 and 125 ml edt. Essenza del Tempo is a new fragrance and it was introduced in 2008.

Smells like Bvlgari the vert, just a bit more citrus yet very subtle and delicate. It became pleasant after an hour or two. Though it doesn't last forever, that's ok, I could always use more.

Though it starts off very citrus and floral... I mean that in a good way... as it wears, it changes to a woody aroma... I don't know about the comment that it's not long lasting... Everytime I've used it, it's lasted all day.. way beyond 8 hours.

What I love best is the way it changes flavors as it wears... Amazing!

It is almost exact copy of good old (but not old-fashioned) perfume "Eau Jean" - french-soviet made ("ОЖЁН") by "Novaya Zaria". Citric-orange. This scent was very popular in USSR in 1980-xx. It was a hit. And it was marketed "for him and probably for you" that time - too. And it is still good. Where did they get it?

This fragrance is a very fine citrus-mix with aromatic accords, i dont get any coffee notes. But i have to agree with Vader its simple, ordinary and you cant lose the impression that you have smelled this before. Just a fresh-citric scent but nothing new. The longevity for a fragrance of this price range is extremely to short, just under an hour.
