Gourmand style oriental - I do get the sweetish, coffee, milky sense from it that so many people report - but it's not at all cloying or choky.
Stays close to the skin, long lasting, very "snuggly", inoffensive kind of fragrance.

reminds me of escada magnetism right there on the spot, in top notes: because of freesia and heliotrope (found in both perfumes).
it does so both on blotter and on my skin.

I'm not picking up any coffee notes at all. Very sweet and powdery. The smell is very familiar, I'm thinking either Sweet Honesty or Skin So Soft by Avon. Not an old lady scent at all, but really more appropiate for a young girl's first perfume. It's nice, but the notes were very misleading to me, and it wasn't quite what I had in mind. Not a totally awful blind buy, but I wouldn't buy it again.

this was the most recent perfume that i had 'love at first inhalation' with... it just has perfect affinity with me. sweet vanilla, caramel and somehow freesia blooms. clean, feminine, sexy, unusual and delicious. This scent makes me very happy... such a classy sweet scent

I find almost no words ... This was love at first sniff.
It has everything, EVERYTHING I was looking for. GORGEOUS! I love, love this fragrance.
I would also like to add that it´s very close to skin. Perfect for work, won´t offend anyone for sure.

i totally fell in love with this fragrance.at the beginning its similar Lolita Lempicka, strong and sweet, but later on it becomes warm, woody and quite low-sugar. Reminds me of Vanille Noire Yves Rocher, after a time on my skin.
Rich and good balanced. I love this and wear this all winter.

So gorgeous! Very smooth and well blended, delicately sweet with added depth thanks to the soft note of coffee.

Not much sillage, but enough for me to notice it throughout the day. Longevity is average, about 5 hours.

In the dry down, it retains the sweetness but also somehow has a soft fresh aspect. Love!

its a lux perfume for allthe times

Inside is a delicate perfume, soft,it has a light and delicious vanilla, elegant and intimate. There is also some note reminiscent cleaning and refreshment. This scent is ideal to people that doesn´t support intense sweet but wishes to make use of vanilla. A great discovery!

I love the smell. Coffee - like, sweet coffee but not too sweet and not a black one but more like 3 in 1. And it doesn't feel like a typical gourmand, it's a bit mysterious coffee, not a coffee copycat. Great job!

Lasting power sucks. The smell is quite gourmand, sweet vanilla is what I pick out the most.

I had it and liked the nut and coffee smell in this. It doesn't have too good lasting power. Also in the drydown it gets kinda sweet and is like a creamy gourmand. It reminds me of vanilla in the end. I wouldn't want a second bottle though.

This is simply beautiful: no edges, just soft creaminess and elegant sweetness. The opening is delightfully fresh and slightly bitter because of the neroli with bergamot and some light woods. I get a similar vibe from Dsquared She Wood (and they do share some of the notes, I even thought Inside has violet). The coffeee note is also detectable right from the start. It is not dominant, it's cosy enough to make you feel as if you're having a creamy vanilla-flavoured cappuccino in the afternoon. I agree that the drydown is a bit reminiscent of Dona Karan's Cashmere Mist, but without the slightly plastic note Cashmere has. The sillage is moderate and the lasting power is quite good.
Bottom line: A relaxed and feminine gourmand-ish fragrance that won't make your head explode with loads of sugar - it's hard not to fall for it. Signature-worthy. I know the croc leather decoration of the bottle is for the company's sake, but it does not go with the mood of the perfume at all. Inside matches very well with Venus Cappuccino or Chocolate and Vanilla body lotion.

I also bought this blind after reading the reviews (thank you cheryl5406)but unlike her experience I think it is really very nice. The heliotrope is the strongest note I detect, everything else seems to be very well blended; I would like to have got more of the coffee notes from this. The initial spray threw me as it was very strong, but it quickly dried down and became a pleasant sweet aura around me.

I agree that it is a more mature woman's perfume, and as I am 57 I guess this "old lady" perfume is suitable for me to wear. It is unlike anything I have in my perfume wardrobe so I am really glad to own a more formal floral-ish, woody-ish fragrance without the dreaded jasmine or sandalwood in it.

It is long-lasting on me, 5 hours. I rate it a 7.5/10.

Neroli and bergamot right from the start. Then the light caramelized scent of heliotrope.

Beautifully blended and gentle. The coffee though is not what I expected. It's gently discernable and slightly acidic. Diluted black, not creamy latte to me which is what I was hoping for--perhaps it's the combination of neroli and bergamot that give this a little diffused brightness. The coffee note is not too obvious or overwhelming either.

Warms down with some sparse shavings of dark woods, amber and a good balance of musk.

A warm, cozy, feminine floral for coffee lovers. And although it smells different to, it has the same feel as Donna Karan's Cashmere Mist.

Ordered this blind after reading reviews that raved about the sweet cafe scent - hate it. It smells very old lady and actually makes me feel ill. Very disappointed. The notes sounded great together but it's just a stinky disaster. I realize a woman's taste in perfume is very different person to person - I just don't understand how so many women like this and think it's yummy. yum!!! did someone order a caramel latte? this is like pink sugar if you cut the sugar in half, toned down a little of the caramel and replaced it with coffee.
i was searching for a coffee perfume and this is satisfying. not a strong coffee scent b/c the caramel really does a nice job of making this more flavored coffee than straight up coffee. i really like it, comforting and sweet.

Trussardi Inside is a new favorite winter fragrance for me. It's snowing here and all day while going about my business, Trussardi Inside kept me warm! I love how woodsy fresh and yet sweet this scent is. I kept smelling wafts of something lovely all day. I had to stop and remind myself 'it's me!''...Trussardi starts off very heady and to me smells like suede without actually being suede. I catch plenty of heliotrope, coffee beans, caramel and nuts. The woodsy aspect in this perfume reminds of earl grey tea for some odd reason too. After the heart of the scent fades, I can still smell coffee, or tea with a subtle warm vanilla. Love it!

Before I tested Trussardi Inside the saleslady told me the notes to expect and I thought just "Wow, that's MY fragrance, this'll fit me perfectly". I love coffe, I love leather, I love the smell of nuts and I like hints of musk.

Well I didn't expect my skin chemistry to interfere with that beauty of a scent. On paper it was a delicate almost gourmand kind of scent, coffe notes, some flowers, a hint of suede, like a well put together woman sipping a cappuchino, some flowers on the table next to her and maybe she wears a leather jacket.

At least that's what I got from the card... But on my skin it developed into cappucchino filled to the rim with sugar, caramel, and that woman didn't enjoy her drink but startled and poured the over sugary cappuchino accidently over the flowers and her jacket. I guess I don't have to say I don't want to smell like that...

Even the saleslady was quite surprised with the scents developement, but told me my natural skin scent was some honey like scent, so I dare say it actually may proof a very lovely scent for other women, unfortunately not for me, unless I would wear it on my clothes instead of on my skin :-(

Now I've got a big bottle, I'm in love with it! Top notes are very interesting, a bit spicy-sour but very nice at the same time (the nut leafs, maybe?). Then a big cup of cappuccino or latte macchiato, warming and delicious. It's so comfortable as can be. I love the bottle, too.

I tried this one yesterday. It's a very nice, long-lasting scent. My husband (who LOVES coffee and is a "hobby-barista":)) likes it too. I want it for this winter,'cause I want my man to caress me often:)!
It's a creamy, cappuccino-like one, not a strong coffee-scent.

Sunny autumn Sunday morning eating a brioche au beurre and dipping pieces in a bowl of cafe au lait in Montreal. Instant memories!
Inside is that delicious gourmand that is requires some nuzzling, not a pushy or saccharine gourmand at all. The sweetness is soft and is not too foody. It does have a pastry and cafe feel to it but it's delicate a is more a skin scent. The bottle is lovely as well, I may have to pick up a backup of this one.

Trussardi Inside is a sweet one, like a creamy frothy Starbucks caramel macchiatto...that you poured all over yourself. The creamy coffee note is present all throughout. Once it dries down, I actually feel like I could lick it off my skin. Don't get me wrong, it's not overpowering and it stays very close. I like this a lot and I'm sure I will like it even more in cooler weather.

Another beautiful floriental from Trussardi, INSIDE showcases coffee where JEANS featured liatrix/tobacco. INSIDE is a very well-constructed and truly delightful fragrance which recalls the drydown of BELLE EN RYKIEL. The two edps differ, however, in that INSIDE does not have the lavender aromatic opening which makes BELLE EN RYKIEL seem a bit more masculine, or at least androgynous. BELLE is also stronger and spicier, while INSIDE seems a bit closer to a skin scent given its low sillage. Well, if your skin happens to be delicious...(-:

INSIDE also offers a nice dose of heliotrope, and somehow the musky-amber base has a patchouli-esque quality. Or perhaps the notes listed are incomplete? In any case, this is another scrumptious offering from Trussardi which is going on my wish list! I'm impressed.

This is amazing! I smelled it at a perfume shop and had to go find it on ebay for a cheaper price. It's sweet but not too much. It definitely smells gourmand to me but nothing like what that implies nowadays. It's a skinscent at the same time which is not common for a gourmand type scent. I love the drydown because that's when I smell the coffee note the best :)

What a pretty fragrance. It slighly reminds me of nut body butter put out by the Body shop. Slighly sweet and florally. I can't say I smell much coffee though. Certainly a fragrance great for a winter day when you want something comforting and filling.

toooooo sweeeeeeeeet! i can´t help, gives me a headake. although there are sometimes moments when i like it a bit more, but it is realy much nicer on paper than on my skin. don´t buy before testing properly!!!!

I still don't know where it stands among my favourite perfumes, but it's the third or fourth one. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I don't, and it even happens that I start to like it after a few hours. But it's really nice. There's coffee and nuts in it, but it's not too sweet, and I can even smell some kind of body lotion in the fragrance. In fact, this was my very first impression: some kind of body cream on my skin. So it's really interesting, many-faced, never boring. But I have to be in the mood to wear it.

lovable fragrance.I think none can dislike (sorry if someone does!!) cause it smells good like something sweet to eat(maybe because of coffee and vanilla? I adore vanilla!)It's warm and soft, it can't bore or give headache cause it's inoffensive and "innocent"...it's perfect for everyone, even teen! The ones who dislike too intense perfumes will love this one!

This is a warm and lively scent-More coffee than wood. It's sweet and feminine, and even has a bit of a gourmand smell while not being a foodie type of scent--But this scent seems like it would be wearable for people who dislike too-sweet scents and it doesn't overdo the coffee. The heliotrope, neroli and freesia are all there, so you get lovely flowers without sharpness or syrup. This never becomes strongly powdery to my nose, which is a very good thing for me. The strength of coffee is as great as in the Dolce&Gabbana scent By, but this is much softer, much more wearable, and classier for me. Smooth, creamy, strong character without being a strong scent, this is an ideal winter scent, not an offensive scent at all, for those who consider the perfume-haters and allergic people out there. I want it, and I find it just as sexy as Python. I am utterly impressed by Trussardi-when it comes to fragrance for me, subtle can be astounding, and this one says "Come closer, guess what's inside"

think it's a delicious, sensual and luxurious perfume. Flowery but delicat, bright... and a sugary touch that makes it adorable.. I loved it on my skin and it really made me feel special.
I think it's meant for the sweet-inocent women than fall inlove with the protective type of men.

I sampled this once in late summer, and it was just a little too much for me in the heat. Now that it's Autumn and a little cooler, I figured I would give it another go.

I find Trussardi Inside to be (on me at least) very similar to Banana Republic Rosewood (which is similar to Flowerbomb). I get that sugared tea & flowers smell instead of coffee. Not bad, but I wish I could smell coffee. The floral notes in here don't bother me as much as they do in Rosewood & Flowerbomb. It's definitely a softer & more bareable sugar-infused floral tea. There's a caramelistic quality that adds to the yumminess of this fragrance. It's warm, cozy, creamy, sweet (but not cloying, IMHO), and very feminine. This is something I would definitely love to wear during the cooler months.

To add to my enjoyment, I found that Trussardi Inside dries down smelling like Kenzo Amour ON ME! Fantastic! But where Amour smells slightly sweet-powdery-soapy-clean (at the beginning), Trussardi Inside [ends] with a sweet-creamy-powder. I'm going to have to make this a must-have!

I love so much coffee aroma. And this is warm intimate scent with a lovely rich aroma of cappuccino, pleasant to the skin as the most expensive cream. Similar to Balmya de Balmain, but I prefer Trussardi Inside, so irresistibly soft.

Meh. It was okay. Too subtle, frankly. It failed the I-just-passed-by-you test. If you are more into fragrances that spell I was here, this is absolutely not for you!

Is it possible that no one spotted the unbelievable similarity with Kenzo Amour? I have Trussardi Inside two months now and couldn't believe how different the bottles are and how similar the fragrances are. I believe that Inside bottle describes it more faithfully (for those who rely on the visual stimulus).

The similarities between Trussardi Inside and Belle en Rykiel are striking. They both start out sweet, tart and slightly woody then share exactly the same caramel-like heliotrope heart with a fairly syrupy coffee note - Belle en Rykiel is even sweeter, I have the impression of smelling pure wild honey.

The first fragrance in my experience with a fairly close heliotrope smell: vanilla-ish caramel with a hint of woods. Later as Inside becomes drier on my skin I get more amber and coffee. The amber is very woody on me and combined with the coffee note it's dry, like scorched branches then it becomes dark and smoky in the drydown which is slightly tempered by musk and the rest of heliotrope trickling in.

My only gripe is that Inside is such a skin scent that with practically zero sillage I wonder if anybody will ever notice I'm wearing it. Belle en Rykiel has slightly more sillage than 'Inside', otherwise it's difficult to tell them apart after a few hours of wear. How odd that both perfumes were created in the same year by two different noses.

Sweet, sweet, sweet... This scent is like as a second skin. I love it!

Hot cup of capuccino with some cocoa powder and creamy foam. It reminds me the smell of a Starbucks shop, when you are standing in line and suffering from caffeine deprivation.

Warm and cosy and casual confort perfume. I really liked it and I think Trussardi house makes some great scents.

Good staying power and syllage. My definition of gourmand scent. Makes me crave a cup of capuccino and a cinnamon and walnut muffin. Humm

I am also very happy that I have found this fragrance. It's warm, sweet, like an embrace and it's a perfume with personality. I can imagine it in warmer weather as well.

My Dad just bought me a bottle and I thought it smelled really sweet. Tried it on and ended up having such a bad reaction to it. Sneezing. Itchy eyes. Pity, because the smell was nice, but I unfortunately can't wear it.

I was tempted to test Trussardi Inside after reading sevral reviews which stated similarities with Lacoste Pour Femme (which I reeeally like). But no, Pour Femme is a cosy fresh-flower-leathery scent, while this one features lots of coffee, nut leaf, chocolate and cinnamon. It is ok, but too cappuccino-like for my taste, at least for now, as I've had enough of gourmand scents like Lolita Lempicka, Pink Sugar or Angel lately.

Inside is def. my number 1 perfume. It blends well with my skin and the lasting power is more than amazing.

This perfume lifts up my spirit and fixes my mood too. I just LOVE the coffee in it. YUM!

I definitely agree with Trvevil. I also think it's similar to Lacoste Pour Femme. They are both very good fragrances but personally, I find Inside even more delicious and unique. I often smell Pour Femme on other women, but it's not as special as Inside. On me, Inside lasts all day long. (maybe after a while, you don't notice it anymore because your nose got used to it, but other people will smell it.)

I must agree with baiba_pukite that the two fragrances Inside and Magnetsim by Escada are very similiar.I absolutely love the both but Escada's Magnetism lasts longer.So romantic and sensual fragrance.

This one is very similar to Lolita Lempicka EDP then it's almost like Lacoste Pour Femme. It's very soft and close to skin I think. The note of coffee is absolutely gorgeous on my skin. I also smelled caramel. I'll say it is casual scent and so inoffensive... Same as with Pour Femme: lasts a long time on skin, but isn't loud and intense. So, perfect for casual occasions. I love it.

i smelled this today and i can say ,its good but not very special.

I think this has been described perfectly already. What a beautiful scent with the coffee, nut leaf, teak and vanilla. I do smell caramel but I don't see it listed here. Its sweet but not too sweet. Its has warmth but enough lightness it would wear well for hot or cold weather. Its smooth, rich, relaxing, elegant and romantic. The notes blend harmoniously together. The lasting power is great and the bottle is beautiful. I was on the hunt for a perfume with a strong coffee note and its very apparent through all the layers of Trussardi Inside.

Great everyday scent! Relaxing, smooth, stays close to my skin, ideal for office wear. Wish it had more staying power though... Excessive sweetness fades on me in several minutes, and woodsy notes keep lingering. Nothing outstanding, but a nice, wearable fragrance!

This is such a pleasant cappuccino scent... Smooth, relaxing and comforting. I feel totally at ease wearing this. It's a bit muted, but very sophisticated. I'm so thankful that it's not too sweet and that the vanilla does not take over! Funny some reviewers say it's best for cold weather - my only reservation is that it's in fact too light - I wish there was an extreme version of this around.

I wouldn't say that definetely for winter... I rather prefer more stronger scnets for winter, like really orintal ones..it one is pretty light.
It reminds me Lolita Lempicka in the biginning..(I also have this perfume).
Although this one has much more caramel and coffee scent and it is not as long lasting and heady/sweet-heavy as Lempicka is. It reminds me nice desert on the coffee... when mixing with our skin it smells really nice, light.

I was delighted when I smelled this gorgeous perfume. It really fits with a classy look and it is warm and sensual. I like drink coffee a lot and this perfume is a plus for my taste, it's a warm scent like my hot coupe of coffee...And my husband tell me now..."you are delicious!"

Caramel, coffee and freesia.. very soft and warm from the beginning. Not very long lasting, but not very expensive either. Pleasant, reminds me of sitting down by the fire in winter and drinking something hot.

I tried this one today. Good scent for either very cold days - gives impresion of something sweet and heavy or for someone who prefers such an old time classic. That is what came to my mind after smelling this perfume.

Silky and warm if in harmony with the skin type. I feel perfect wearing it! The coffee latte notes remind me of Christmas - it's a yummi fragrance and the bottle is stylish, too!

This smell is like comely woman with very discreet make-up, in cotton, simple dress of topping creator. She drink macciato latte. Yes, Trussardi Inside smells easy coffee, excellent vanilla cake, bit of flower. It connected wonderfully with skin. Easy and very interesting - as woman, which says about nice, but neutral cases, never about it. So,name this fragrance is exact reverse of character. I like it.

I love it for everyday wear, it is suitable going through the daily events. Embrases for all day long with silkiness and warmness. Gives a breath of Italian subtle and elegant taste mixed with romantic notes with slight coffee spice reminiscence :)

This is a 1:1 copy to Escada Magnetism!!! Which I absolutely adore, but that's not the point... They are IDENTICAL! At last for the first 2 hours... But Escada lasts longer...
