This is a real Italian, masculine fragrance that continuous the tradition of Trussardi, who are known for their leather products. The composition of this perfume is delightful and of high quality, just like Trussardi leather belt or portmone.
Aromatic, masculine notes of lavender, basil and spruce are in the top, and they lead to the heart of the fragrance which is more spicy that floral: note of rose is followed by bay leaf, cinnamon and carnation. The sharp masculine base is made of patchouli, labdanum, Tonka bean and, of course, leather. The perfume was created by Beatrice Piquet in 1983, and the bottle was designed by Nicola Trussardi. Trussardi Uomo was launched in 1983.

Last days I floated back in time, some 20 years ago, wearing my trussardi Uomo in full colours. Long lost, but rediscovered last week.
This scent is still very modern, delicious and getting 100% positive remarks everywhere.
It slowly fills your office with a fresh and crisp scent......in a restaurant,the waitor and the guests on the table next to me asked me "what is that deliscious scent you're wearing, sir ?"
well, it's trussardi uomo, a well preserved treasure from a couple of decades ago.
So, It will be in my wardrobe for decades to come....
This scent is still very modern, delicious and getting 100% positive remarks everywhere.

My trussardi arrived today.......
Hmmmmm, I have certainly missed this real deep black masculinity bombshell back from the 80's.
Trussardi Uomo is a sharp spicy-leathery scent, but certainly not one of "in your face"-types. It's about as good as it gets among 80's fragrances. It is rightfully up there with the original Burberry's and Antaeus.
It starts very powerfully with green with some citrus and aldehydes: The gin berries are definitely there. The full richness is apparent at the first spray; its dry and masculine darkness is compelling. The heart notes bring elegance into the equation by softening the intensity of the opening and adding spices, powder, florals (rose), and a touch of honey.......it dries down to a great, very very nice crisp fragrance in no time: it becomes a rich classic leather,musk,moss & recognisable patchouli that envelopes the wearer in a elegant presence rather than pumping it out as a sillagebeast: Trussardi stands for elegance, it's superior and does not have to shout around it's class.
Trussardi Uomo has a compelling luxurious opacity...it is majestic, extremely sensual and passionate. It resembles many typical 80's male scents and is certainly spectacular as a formal, overtly old-school scent.
I love it. I wonder it's longevity is the same on my skin as it was 15 years ago. Next days I'll try & report back to you. My secretary will be amazed tomorrow when she discovers yet another new scent...
and don't forget: this one still rocks !
