This reminds me of those cozy, smoky lounges back in the 70's. Dimly-lit, walls carpeted, comfortable upholstery. Yes, the languid gasp of a daffodil is the sharpest knife in this drawer- come closer... Aren't these little bottles the cutest!? :-D

My sample rapidly dwindles as i experiment with layering this funk with my other favorites.
yes Calyx93, exactly. This is mostly base notes. I noticed when layered with other things it brings out the deepest Animal notes of everything.
YSL kouros, Obsession, White diamonds, Chanel #5 already kinda has that funky dry down. anything musky will blend well. Even femmy perfumes blend well.
This is a true Unisex... oddly. This smells so familiar. I realized, it smells just like a bed after a female roommate used to use mine. Not really dirty, just... "real", candid. It's like good dirty morning sex, when you're both funky, but don't really care.

This has one of those "special somethings" i've been looking for. This has the making of the winner. Not a winner, but THE winner. There's so much more that can be done with this Animal base. FUR has never smelled so good.

This is one rich complex brew!
Now i must comment from my perspective... cuz i.. know these kinds of things.
The primary TOP note is pure RAW Civet. It smells strongly of indole and Skatole(greek for dung), it is that characteristic "Mothball" like vibe you get from Halitosis or, as i describe it so aptly, a male college Dorm where someone thought it would be funny to NOT flush, and YOU are the lucky contestant to discover what's behind door #2(bad pun, sorry). Or Furthermore, as i'd describe, "unwashed sextoy".

Civet, Animal sweat, and FUR. yes, I smell FUR, raunchy Animal fur (Carnivore, not herbivores like horses. They smell more fruity). Worn Black Leather. Not cheap vinyl leather, but rich leather.
The Aoud Brent acquired, OMFG, it gives that medicinal "sweat" vibe on top of it all. Finally, the Narcissus is that faint sweetness that rounds it out, as a hint of sugar rounds a very strong espresso.

Today, I am one very happy kitty.
Every time i discover a composition that pushes the envelope like this, i feel less and less shy about professing my love for this Genre. This Fragrance Family, often left out of most "fragrance wheels". In addition to floral, citrus, Green, but also Urinous, Fecal, Feral, Genital, Erotic, are also there, regardless of being ignored and avoided.

Salvador Dali was known for his eccentric views on this "...excrement are extremely important topics". He used to wear cat urine, and fish tinctures. He would appreciate this. For it's artistic, emotional, poetic roles.(of COURSE this is NOT for everyone) In fact, MOST people will NOT like this. But that's ok. You NEEEED to be in the right mood & Mindset for it. I've been called a lot of things.
There is NOTHING wrong with hating this.

Yes, it blows Serge Lutens MKK out of the water(Which is a much cleaner "Rosey" saliva like vibe to it). ELDO "Secretions Magnifique" is like a clean, salty, Floral Vagina & Coconut Seaweed.
Untitled #8 is one.. very.. VERY horny Lion(or Lioness?), clad in an unwashed leather thong, pole dancing... where your face is the pole.
Trust me... the audience is out there. Small, but it makes a certain few, VERY happy.

I could not wash this off fast enough. It literally made me feel sick. Smelled to me like the water in a vase when you've left the flowers in it way, way too long. Or, I'm sorry to say, a toilet, with just a hint of suffocating white florals. Perhaps it settles into something more pleasant later, but I just could not wait around for that. I don't mean to be rude--I'm just stressing that this is my experience. I am endlessly fascinated at how different people react to scents.

All base notes, but some very nice ones I might add. This isn't as loud or penetrating as the more prominent animalic scents in the fragrance world, but it proves to be a contender for most skanky skin scent in the realm of oils. Supposedly containing "feral" musk, narcissus, civet, oud and leather - it's not nearly as brash out of the bottle as it might sound. However, give it some time and body heat and it will give you a dangerously sexy aura and is fabulous on its own and used synergistically with other similar fragrances. For example, it's amazing when barely (really, barely) spritzed with some Kouros or Shalimar - adds some of the backbone that got removed due to IFRA nonsense. It can also secure and reign-in floral musks, like Bal a Versailles, Knowing and Fleur de Cabotine. It even works beautifully with vintage Femme PDT.

I'll add more/edit this later, but wearing it this evening over my work-a-day expired Teck and Tonka, it gives the weakened oriental the gleam of a black panther stalking its prey. Perfect for going out for cocktails tonight - and for the "tail" that will hopefully follow!

Unwashed body that hasn't "soured" (I wouldn't call it "body odor", just unwashed body). I LOVE IT. It is definitely a step beyond MKK. It smells like people who have been out at the beach all day, and have returned to their cabin which has it's windows open, salty ocean wind blowing through and stroking sun-soaked skin that's been deeply tanned (or even burned a little bit). These people are lovin each other and the day. It reminds me of the air on the Adriatic sea that blows over salty skin, Yum.
