Usher She Usher for women

This perfume smells like wine...certainly not something I'd want to smell like. There is also something very strange about it that I can't quite describe. I gave this away to someone who wanted it because I couldn't stand to wear it, and that was a long time ago, so my memory is a little fuzzy. I do remember why I didn't like it though...

Strong perfume. Smells too sour and smells way too much like incense. Horrid fragrance for a woman, Though it does smell nice if you spray it in your linen cupboard (sparingly that is)

at first i thought it was a bit too strong, but then I gave it a second try....I get blueberries at the beginning and then woodsy notes and incense which add to the darkness of this perfume. I could see myself wearing it occasionally for nights out only.
The scent is okay if used sparingly. If you like edgier and somewhat stronger perfumes this one's worth a try.

I love sweet fragrances, and I never thought I would say this, but Usher She is WAY too sweet for me. It must be my chemistry, but it also smells super synthetic and gave me a headache instantly. I think on the right person, this would smell alluring, but on me, it's like all the sweet notes are on steroids.

It also reminds me of Halle by Halle Berry, but for some reason Halle worked much better for me!

This scent is so linear. It has got no personality. Its just so boring and I can only smell alcohol in the notes.

i just got this perfume, sprayed it and instantly thought it smelled like beer. then that smell fades, but in its place a scent that's not too pleasant either. i thought it was going to be more fruity, subtle. its kind of an in your face smell and not in a pleasant way. glad i got it on sale. the bottle does look very masculine. i'm giving it away. i too think its an older woman's scent. maybe mom will like it.

I'm very particular in my choice of perfumes. I usually prefer a very fresh, fruity scent but this is one my favourite perfumes. It's amazing. I'm complimented on it more than any other perfume I wear & it's a gorgeous bottle.

Unfortunately, I'm in agreement with most of the comments: this is not a pleasant fragrance, at least on me. It's mostly pungent, sour and overall is very disappointing.

I have to say this is defiantly not a fragrance for women and it is probably one of the worse perfumes I have ever smelled. I got this perfume in a value set and tried giving it away, but no one wanted it ! It has a musty floral smell with a blend of of alcohol ! Not a good combination of scents in my own opinion !

this is strong and spicy with some floral. at first spray its kind of strong and pungent, after it dries down its a spicy, jasmine floral. i think the incense in this is what makes it so strong. i find it pleasing, not offensive. its not my favorite perfume, but one i can wear and know i don't smell bad.

agree! it looks aweful in real life and the scent is aweful as well, i don't know but that is what i smelled and i really didn't like the bottle. No offense usher but i really didn't think it's a pretty scent, and that U thing looks like a horse shoe...I really thought it was a horse shoe and I thought it was Maine n' tails perfume not usher. sorry i didn't feel it!

When i first smelled this fragrance i thought "Ugh another un-original fragrance by a celebrity". So one day i wanted to give it another try and i loved it! When i applied it i got top notes of a bit of red current, pink fressia, and a bunch of apple blossom. After a whlie the top notes fade away and a lighter layer of florals such as Fangipani, Bloomin Jasmine, and Passion Rose appear, and i get the apricot nector note which was smart to put in because it was meant to balance out the fragrance and give it a sweet fruity touch. After, some of the middle notes fade away i start getting some notes of Amber, Sensual Musk, Cashmere Wood, and Incense to give it a smoky and sensual finish to it. I Just Love It! I give this fragrance a 5/5, and i really recommend this if you wanna smell sweet, casual, and sexy all at once. ; )

I purchased this product a week ago. When I 1st. sprayed it on, I didn't like the fragrance for the reason, it smelled kind of woody & musky, but once it settled onto my skin, I liked that it smelled like jasmines & roses. I don't find this fragrance to be overpowering, but it doesn't have lasting power. This product was kind of expensive & I wasn't all "gaga" over it. One more thing, the perfume bottle looks like mens cologne. When I first opened the box, I thought I wrongfully picked up mens cologne. The perfume bottle lacks creativity. Overall, this fragrance wasn't what I expected. I won't be purchasing this product any time soon.

i tested this an couldnt wait to wash it off,the little smell i got was awfull no staying power ,which in this case was good!!!

I agree with Usher's description--very mysterious. I smell honey and grapes for some reason, but I love it!

Not impressed! After wearing it a while I feel sick.

I thought i'd give it a try.. Because it's Usher and I like usher for music but not the perfuem..Its not flattering at all,and I will be giving it away.

I wish I had something nice to say about this one... unfortunately I think this just isn't in a category that I love so if you love strong, musky fragrances... then this one is for you!

But I don't understand why it is put in the "Fruity Floral" category? .. huh? Say what?!? Very confusing (scratches head in wonderment lol ) :)

Any-who.. Luckily for me this was a VERY TINY bottle that I bought in a celebrity fragrance gift set.

Well unfortunately this one I gifted to my mother as it seems to me an older fragrance. I was shocked to think that Usher picked this for a woman? Is it me or is this considerably more masculine? It is very strongly musky. Unfortunately it was so overpowering to me I couldn't tell you any of the notes. :( Well thank goodness for small samples. :) I wonder if the iridescent bottle one he makes for women is a more feminine version of this? I am now almost afraid to try lol.

I literally had to go to the bathroom and try to wash it off. I had a very similar experience to Hillary Duff~ With Love... incidentally if you love that kind of fragrance you will love this one. Very oriental, musky, heavy, almost manly. (bleh :p ) lol. Is it me? Not feminine at all. :( was so disappointed. Not sure why Usher decided to make a woman's fragrance so masculine? To my nose it isn't feminine and really horrible. (sorry! :(

Perhaps they should re-title this as "He" instead of "She"? Girly-girls take note! lol. :)

I am realizing the "woods" notes I probably don't like? I had equally strong reaction to wood notes in one of the fragrances by Gwen Stephanie. Harajuku Lovers Lil` Angel. Which I wanted so much to love! It seemed the perfect fruity floral by learning the notes. But it had Japanese woods to it... which is sad. because besides that I would have loved it. It made it smell a little like cigarettes? Are all Woods Notes this strong? What notes make a fragrance this pungent and overpowering? someone let me know, so I know what to avoid! Thank you. :) <3

Bought a 3.4 oz gift set for $19.99 nice set nice price and I also got my daughter a single 3.4 oz for $14.99 she absolutely loves this fragrance she has the big body butter to go along with it.It smells to me like a peach scent not real pleasant but wearable I guess,it is very difficult for me to not purchase a fragrance gift set for a good price!

I have been using this a lot lately to spray on my sheets and blankets as well as an air freshner. Its not strong by no means and it will not last long but I like it.

Well I bought this on accident. I thought I was getting Usher He. Be careful when buying I didnt see the word she anywhere on the box. I am sure it was there but like an idot i took a quick glance and all I saw was the word Usher. I guess thats what I get for buying fragrances from CVS. So if the word she is there, then it just wasnt labeled good. Anyway its the fruitiest scent I ever smelled in a fragrance. But I will keep it becaude the scent was pleasing in a way that I might spray it on my sheets or do something like that. But really too fruity to be a perfume that I would like on a girl.

For me after settling it gives the same effect like JLO STILL...THE SCENT IS not necessarily the one i love ... but i love the long lasting lingering effect .. The one thing about scents you should not .. the long lasting power of the scent is extremely as important as the fragrance ... For me it smells like oriental flowers boquet .. and warm musky smell later

well just smelling the bottle it was very similar to celeb B.Spears, Believe. Once sprayed I also get... rotten peaches and the worst drunken alcoholic smell ever from a perfume. The dry down did improve but it turned into a not so good Believe again. Not so happy I bought this even if it was on sale. will have to give away in hopes that the top notes show better on someone else.

I really dont like this fragrance. It was launched at the same time as 'Sean John Unforgible Woman' (which I love!). So I wanted to give this a try aswell. But I must agree with Sharyssa. This is stinky!!!

Goes on fruit-sweet, but immediately begins to fade into a yellow pollen floral with jammy notes. I really like this, and expected not to,as I usually am underwhelmed by celebrity scents. However that lovely yellow floral pollen scent is the epitome of spring and this adds a great tart jolt of apples into the mix. Despite myself, I like it rather a lot. Very light and pretty without being too floral, too fruity, too perfume-y.

I love Usher as an artist, however it is his artistry in fragrances that has me slightly disappointed.

Usher She isn't a dislikable scent, it's quite fresh and distinctive, however it is the lack of imagination and creativity that went into the making of this fragrance that has me questioning why he even decided to put his name to this scent.

The first thing I noticed when I tried this fragrance was its strength. When applied to the skin Usher She becomes quite overpowering. In my personal opinion, this fragrance, (especially with the use of the apple tree blossom note), smells a lot like a knockoff version of DKNY Be Delicious that my cousin wears. It's a rather heady blend of apple, red currant, apricot and frangipani.

The heart of this fragrance does try to mellow the opening top notes with soft and feminine florals, however the scent, although much more subtle, still remains quite strong and sharp.

I was rather disappointed with the drydown. I smelt no hints of incense or orchid at all. Instead it was a soapy finish that left much to be desired.

I am yet to try UR for women, but here's hoping it smells much nicer than this.

I've always loved Usher, but I love him even more for this fragrance. He hit all the right notes with this floral/fruity combo. There's just the right amount of fruits and florals in this perfume to make it one beautiful fragrance. It has been often compared to Sean Jean's Unforgivable Woman, but I prefer to wear Usher She. It's not too heavy or too light and can be worn in the daytime or evening.

Reminds me of Angel by Thierry Mugler. For me it is the same smell. Very nice and sweet.

Like other reviewers, I barely knew who Usher was. But I got a sample of this with an online order, and checked it out.
And like Tonya said, my first whiff wasn't too positive. But after 5 minutes or so, I began to like it. I just found it on an post-valentine's clearance table, so I bought it.

I'm really surprised this is classified as a fruity floral--it is much more oriental/musky to me. Not one of my top 5 frangrances, but very nice.

I like this one is very simple and casual...is very fruity and likeable.:)

I adore this one...got so many perfumes, but this one also is one of my favourite ones.

LAST ALL DAY....quite strong, but the scent doesn't freak out people.

i enjoy this fragrance on occasion, has kind of a heady boozy scent to me, most likely to wear it on an evening out probably with a LBD.

OK I will admit that I am apprehensive about purchasing perfumes from people who aren't in 'the biz' if you will. However, I recieved this sacent as a gift and I really liked it....enough that I wear it about twice a week.....

I didn't care for the scent (at first). . .by the end of the day, I found myself ordering on-line.

It smells like nail polish remover.

Okay, smelled it and it doesn't stink but doesn't make me want to buy it either.

The bottle is so ugly. But I wonder if it smells good. It's describe as a fruity floral scent which is one of my favorites. I guess i'll try it out.

This fragrance sooooooooo did not go with my body chemistry. Definitely one to try before you buy! I couldn't get it removed from my clothing and body quick enough.

A true lover of fragrance doesn't associate their like or dislike of the scent with their personal opinion of the person's name who is on it.... this is actually a very pleasant fragrance unfortunatly it doesn't work well with my chemisty but it smells awesome on other's.

I absolutely love this fragrance, it smell so good with my body chemistry and that is always a plus. I got mine out the military exchangein Kuwait, but don't see the mens cologne. I would love to get that for my son.

Usher, the musician, while he seems very likeable and approachable -- Usher, the fragrance, smells like strong bug spray to me. I haven't smelled the Usher He version, but this one doesn't smell feminine at all, to me.

You are such a hater. No one asked if you liked him or not. That's something you should have kept to yourself.
