Katia is a feminine floral fragrance that contains notes of freesia, hyacinth, mimosa, rose, jasmine, cyclamen, sandalwood, amber and musk. Available as 50 ml EDT. Katia was launched in 2009.
While I love hyacinth so much, this perfume didn't quite work for me. It seems quite heavy, overpowering.
Then maybe it is because I love mild, non intrusive, floral scents.
God I grew up with this perfume all around me!! Old fashioned, pure floral. To my nose, the hyacinth, rose, mimose, and musk were the most prominent. Has monster sillage and projection. I'd buy it on my next visit to Turkey as well. If for nothing else than the sweet memories of the old country... :o)
my mom's fragrance. katia is quite heady, strong floral fragrance. hyacinth is the dominant note. i think it is suitable for autumn or winter. pure nostalgia for me
this perfume was launched much earlier. I remember, I bought it for my mum in 1992 in Izmir, Turkey. the Vakko for men was also at that time.
I think I will love it.
