Basic Instinct is a fragrance for men introduced in 2002. Its top notes bring us mandarin, bergamot, melon, pineapple, cucumber, nutmeg and lavender. A heart blooms with orange blossom, jasmine and violet, while a base encompasses rum, wood, amber, musk, oak moss, patchouli and vetiver. This masculine perfume was created by Pierre Bourdon and it is available as 125ml edt.

Hi.
Fresh.clean,light,cool.definitely a summer scent.it is quite usual at the begining for me it is really similar ACQUA DI GIO and many other fresh fragrances but i still love it.
I feel like i am at the beach when i wear it also reminds me of my friend who went to onother country!in my opinion BASIC INSTINCT is unisex and casual fragrance.Good choise for everyday use and appropriate for young man and the longevity is +4 hours on my skin.

well i dont know about the notes and other stuff but trust me its something,people cant resist asking about
i found a friend of mine wearing it and asked and since then its me
it does make a lot of people inquire
it is infact sexy and appealing, women cant resist it
it has an eligant scent which suits office home bed...

nobody can look at this cologne and says it's not a reminder of a famous ultra-rated movie.the shape of the bottle is very masculine and designed like the shoulders of the body of a man.
maybe if it was launched after the success of the movie in 90s decade,it would be something,but nowadays people go for the sniff,not the provocative name(between sheets...)
actually,it's not a bad choice.lavendar sharpens the first notes as it's cool and fruity.although the designer had aimed to design a abstract masculine colonge,totally it's not that masculine.it's somehow bitter and warm at heart.I love the rum scent in it.
it's not the base work from pierre bourdon,but it's acceptable for every average man and it's not super sexy like it may seem.
