Launched in 2001, Metal Jeans marks the beginning of the new millennium; the era of globalization, transport, new technologies, intercontinental friendships, journeys…It’s a youthful and a modern perfume. The opening sparks with fresh notes of green accords, tangerine, grapefruit and watermelon. Jasmine flower and lotus are settled at the heart, while the base consists of amber notes, oak moss, Guiac wood and musk. Innovative bottle is made of special glass with a plastic box (purse, wrap).

This was a really fruit intensive sweet ambery summertime fragrance. Some swore by it, and if you were one of those, the good news is that Hilfiger's Freedom for Him comes pretty close, and though also discontinued, is still available now at bargain prices on the net. Fruity with little to no citrus, that is its charm. Refreshing as can be!

This has always been one of my favourite fragrances. It's by no means the best but it has a special place in my collection.
It's light and refreshing, a summer scent that doesn't last long but is a joy to continually apply on a hot day. Its citrus and watermelon top notes drip with freshness. There are clean, clear flowers there too before settling into the mossy woody base.
I used Clinique Happy as a replacement for a while as the top notes are similar but it lacks body in comparison to Metal Jeans.

Refreshing and cool ! Perfectly fit for hot weather (summer). The watermelon is dominant. But it lacks longevity. It only lasts around 2-3 hours on my skin.

As a woman I just loved this fragrance whenever my fiance was waring it!!! and it actually lasts quite a while! maybe its lasting effects is different on different skins!

i don't know why all like it so much. for me it's another synthetic "windows cleaner" fruit scent. i don't find anything special in it at all. plus another "-" for longevity.

my father had it few years back.. and i would say that i love it so much... i would never wear my father's perfume but i just can't stand it... i can smell the fruit especially watermelon in it.... which made it so delicious smelling... and now i'm dying to get another bottle but i think they didn't sell it here in malaysia anymore... i can still imagine the greatness of the smell in my mind...

A delicious fragrance. I just wish it could last longer... tha lasting power is very, very weak... It stays close to skin within an hour.
