However, the opening scent is very citrusy and fresh, but please wait a few minutes. The dry down is awful. It turns to a bitter scent (not in a good way).
I expected much more of it. Really disappointing …
I don’t like it.
very clean fresh and citrusy which i love. Even its a EDT i can still smell it after 5 hours of smelling it, i get alot of complements on it too oh and this fragrance to me is very original very different to all the other Vercase fragrances for men NICE ;)

The only drawback that i have noticed using this scent is that I feel as if it fades just after a couple of hours. I don't know if it's true or is it just me. I like it but the short duration of the scent disappoints me. I love it if only the scent will last me at least the whole afternoon.

It has been criticized here for being weak. I think that is a matter of personal preference. If you want your fragrance to be loudly announced before your arrival, Versace PH and most modern fragrances are not for you. Consider the powerhouse colognes of the 70s and 80s. Be aware, however, that most people today do not appreciate that kind of projection, especially in confined spaces. You may be as proud as a peacock for how you "stand out" but while you are strutting your stuff, don't be surprised if others are keeping their distance. Versace PH does not command the air from 4-6 feet away. Its magic is from inside that range. Women still compliment it on me 6 hours after application but usually it is because they are in close proximity (on an elevator or seated beside me at a table).
Versace PH opens with a very intense citrus softened somewhat by the warmth of neroli. Be careful not to judge the fragrance either positively or negatively by its opening as it transitions very quickly into the mid and base notes. There, it picks up a fresh floral accord that remains through the dry down. Finally it settles into a soft, warm vanilla and amber. The vanilla and amber are not overly sweet and cloying but smooth and subdued.
A well done, quality fragrance that I enjoy and highly recommend.
All in all high quality.
update: I have come to like it better and better. Very nice.

very common and unisex.
following on from other comments.. i do find it lasts very well..
There are a lot of fragrances better than it.
P.S. I bought it 3 months ago.
My mark: 5/10

Very good quallity!Thank you Versace!

I'm really addicted to Italian cologne, a fan of Salvatore Ferragamo, Giorgio Armani, Versace and Sergio Tacchini
Almost evrytime i go to the bathroom i take a sniff on this perfume bottle. I am so hooked and hope he will never use anything else...

VERY VERY NICE .

Right off the bat, Chanel and Versace smell almost the same but the dry downs are completely different. Versace dried down into what I think was a mild spice, aquatic and powdery feel whereas Chanel goes into an amber, spice, vanilla and slight citrus dry down.
After smelling the tester papers all day, Chanel still holds my heart. Don't get me wrong, I'm eventually going to give in and buy it... but I would feel like I'm buying a second bottle of Chanel but just a copy of it.
UPDATE: I own it and I have grown to love it. I actually prefer it over Chanel now. The dry down is what captivates me.
The longevity is pretty good too. I can still smell it on me after i come home from a long day at work.

But this is better.
Simple but sexy.
the bad is pour homme never stick on me.my frend does :( .but fine i really love this pour homme. hey it is time that bathline should have a body moisturizer to stick on it .

It differs from Chanel also by the style of drydown - Chanel has sweet-cacao, while this Versace has aqua-freshy ending.
Not killing, not very strong, but lasts 10+ hours, with little or no changes, *NOT* boring, high quality chemistry.

I've just got of this as a present for the New Year and all I can say is that this is just another safe composition in tried and tested safe territory.
Lasting power is below average for me.
If you want to stand out among the crowd, give this a go as I do not think it will cause any impact to create a memorable impression.

Lasting power on me is not great, but good.
As for the similarity with Allure Homme Sport... it's indeed there, but with my nose i feel that this one it's much more fresh, allure being more aromatic.
So if u're a collectionar or versace fan, it's a great fragrance... & if not, it's just good ;)
