Versace Woman Versace for women

I tested this today and it smelled a little like the Versace Red Jeans when first sprayed but as it settled it reminded me of FCUK for her in the silver bottle. I already have that so I didn't bother with this one because to me they are very similar in style. This is nice and fresh and not childish. If you like FCUK then you may like this.

On paper this scent is ok - on my skin it turns into a dark mess, I tried it several times but no - just disgusting, sad to say. When I look at the perfume-pyramid it contains every note I love, but blended in this scent its just a big no-no.

bland and boring!! no lasting power at all. It is ok to use it to freshen up during day time though as a body spray. Apart from that nothing special about this perfume.

Boring! Boring! Boring! does not smell of anything whatsoever, I sprayed a huge amount of this on myself yesterday and my other half could not smell a thing.
Was given this for Christmas - if anyone wants to do a swap for something that actually has a fragrance please let me know.

I bought it mainly for the bottle, stopped using it about 1/4 way through. I conclude that "pink scents" are not for me, I simply can't find the warmth and personality in pink scents. I also dropped YSL Baby Doll soon after I bought a whole bottle of it! I can't even remember the scent of this one, though...In comparison, I'd say Baby Doll is much better since I can at least remember what it smells like.

his smells in some way artificial on my skin. Sour with a woody hint. Not good on my skin.

I take Versace Woman as sister fragrance of Bright Crystal. To me, they both have a sour-sweet-fruity opening, light-watery-floral middle and a ambery-musky base.

Though not at the list, I captured a noticeable black current note, which is a bit overwhelming compared to the thin floral part. The flowers are too shy, they're buried in the fruity burst and are deprived of vigor and vitality, I really wish the lotus could live longer to give this perfume a real aquatic touch. The base is nothing interesting at all, a sheer musky texture ever left.

A perfume not that easy to let me firmly say hate, but no surprise, no amaze at the same time. Sorry, I do not consider it as an outstanding work from nose Christine Nagel.

When I first smelt Versace Woman fragrance from the tester card in the store, I experienced the wierdest smell of my life. My comment to the sales person was "what the hec is that smell,it smells wierd- not nice at all". I Laughed and walked away.A couple of months later,my neice was wearing this allmighty georgous perfume that seemed to linger so elegantly ,softly and reminded me of a smell from a trip I had taken to Hawaii years before.I had to ask her what perfume she had on and she explained to me that it was the one and only Vesace Woman! Well I couldn't beleive it!so I went back to the store to test it on my skin.From this spray I could smell the beautiful frangipani,jasmine, berries,and cedarwood that held it all together.The more time I wore it,the deeper the scent became.I now own a 50ml bottle of this mesmerizing scent.The more I wear it the more I love it,and I would say I'm truelly addicted to it especially in the Autumn and Winter months here in Australia.I would highly recommend this perfume to any person who is looking for a perfume that has an expensive aura,lightly sprinkled with tropical flowers, sunshine ,and settles with creamy,dreamy cedarwood.This perfume dosn't irritate the nose or stomach as some individuals react sensitivly to perfumes such as my self.I have now learnt to be patient with perfume and not to judge too quickly just from one spray on a card.It's definately about skin chemistry and Versace knows all about that!

At first it smells a bit sour, but then it settles down into a pleasant woodsy scent on my skin. And it's kinda long lasting too. I like it.

A friend recommended this perfume as a feminine day wear to me. Bought this without trying (no tester that time). And I agree! This smells really good and it is deliciously sweet but not overwhelming either. Subtle and not heady. It has a unique fragrance that blends nicely especially the oak moss and berries. This is charming, elegant, playful and cozy at the sametime. It feels sexy wearing it and it last quite a long way. I'm unexpectedly impressed. I enjoy wearing this and I love looking its pink bottle embedded with stones. Very interesting. It just looks glamorous and pretty.

When I get just a whiff of the perfume, it smells more fruity, light and pleasant. When I smell it close to my skin, it is more floral/powdery, strong. I haven't decided how I feel about this perfume. I only just applied it, so I'll update my review after a few hours.

After the initial fleeting sharp blast, the rose really shines through. I can't distinguish bergamot as it probably got vaporized somewhere there with the intro-bomb.

Then raspberry--synthetic? Hhhmmmaybe I guess, but likeable. Sweet and friendly. Lotus and cedar are only discernable in giving this fragrance a dry clarity; a little slice of plum gives it a hint of feminine fleshiness.

The drydown is an equal balance of light wood, gentle musk and soft fruit.

Wearable and charming. However, the name Versace Woman suggests something a little more voluptuous. This fragrance, although not childish, is innocent and should have been called Versace Girl or something equally pure.

Sexy and Feminine the opening starts with Ripe and
succulent Red Raspberries in one minute dries to a
creamy scent of vanilla deep juicy plum dries the
top layer, Unfortunitly it turns synthitic but it
dos'ent overwhelm but still smells delicious during the scent life on my skin which sadly it fades quickly i forgot to mention the rose note durning
the middle of the top opening quietly soft and not
embransive it plays a passive host compare to the
harsh top opening, Amber sweet and not cloying
adds a bit of sweetness to the Raspberry and tart
plum, The wood note which is elusive hard to dectect
lotus just seems invisible a flower that only reveals
to a select few but not a my skin.
It's hard to classify this is it an average Frangrance
or above average it has a promising opening but fails
with it's silage Womanly and yet fun these are one of
those scents that gives both signals.

this smells all about a sweet-sour fruit-syrup (quite artificial aroma), maybe a little bit plasticy, yes, with lot of powdery, white petals and a velvety full blooming rose, like a walk in a garden in spring. i like it in someway.... it's not offensive, it lingers well on skin, but not a incredible sillage nore it's longlasting.
i like powdery fragrances very mutch and the sweet aroma beetween the powdery notes is somehow intriguing and quite unique, but this one makes me sneeze of the dry powder-overdose.
i imagine wearing it on a rainy springday it could be very uplifting, but this perfume is nothing really to love, it's safe, it's light and soft, not complex, not rich.

i could see paris hilton or katy price wearing this for a shoppingtour or a fotoshoot. but not me.

Here is what I get from Versace Woman...WTH is that? In short I totally dislike this, it smells like a steel can that holds all fragrance oils for transport/ emptied.. then refill again. No not for me.

I can smell the plum, others..just smell so bad... I dont want to remember how awful it smell. Thank god I only tested it on paper strip. The smell is so strong, outdated and very plastic. Don't wear it please, it gimme headache!!

I tested it today and theres is something extremelly plastic about this one, I can only smell the raspberys and the plum, but not in a natural way, for me this scent smells like those perfumed dolls that used to be really famous in the 90', i cant remeber the name. The lasting power is really poor, and the smell itself its just bad. Thats why they are selling 50ml bottles of this one for 9,99£ on boots. Bahh

Versace WOMAN is a fruity floral fragrance with raspberry as its focus. I would be hard-pressed to identify the precise flowers represented here, as the petals have all been tinged with raspberry juice.

As I am not fond of raspberry notes in perfumes, I may not be the best judge of WOMAN. It just seems like a generic red fruity-floral to me. Neither cloying nor compelling, WOMAN would be a perfectly acceptable office scent for those who like this genre and wish not to offend

The smellalike of this gorgeous perfume is Lapidus WOmen. The Versace bottle is 10 times more beautiful though!!

My good friend Blueberrypie gifted me this perfume and it is a masterpiece. But this is not a perfume you get to know the 1st time you use it. It is so sophisticated, that it takes time to grasp all dimensions here. It is a very sexy perfume, yet fresh in a way too. Very classy and different somehow. A daring concept making use of a musk like this, but a very clean interpretation of such a sexy perfume. Very unique, thank you Blueberrypie!!

On me it's a little bit powdery scent with few drops of freshness of raspberry. I find this a nice scent, but unfortunately nothing more than that. And for me "just nice" doesn't make me wanna buy and have a bottle. 1 ml sample will be enough.

A woman sprayed this on my arm while I was vacationing in St. Maarten. I didn't give it much of a thought till later when i couldn't stop smelling my arm. It wasn't the most amazing perfume ever, but now and then i come across one that, for some reason, makes me obsess over it until i buy it. And i did buy it, a year later when the memory of this perfume was still on my mind.

The bottle is whimsical and stops just short of being cheesy. The voluptuous shape and clear glass lets the honey colored liquid shine through and take center stage. I really appreciate that about it for some reason and find myself holding the bottle against my white sheets to admire it.

This perfume is a dry fruity wine with plenty of raspberry and honeyed cedar. The dryness lasts just midway through the life of the perfume on me and mellows into a fresh sexy berry jam. This is one of those perfumes where i much prefer the drydown to the rest of the scent.

The cedar always seems a bit too strong to me when i wear it and i dream of replacing it with lavender. No one else seems to notice the over abundance of cedar and i get many complements when wearing this...most often from gay men interestingly enough.

It's ok ish! nothing special, will probably wear now and again. Definately for me, a daytime scent. Liked the bottle but wish I liked the fragrance as much. Got the body cream as a present so bought the perfume to try and get it stay around a bit longer but it's still not strong enough for me.

I am by nature oriented to classic appeal. Good tailored suit and matching bag throws me to my knees. You know, the kind of look which reveals nothing, polite, conservative almost sterile. The "cold beauty" appeal.

Versace Woman is a good tailored suit. Soft and feminine floral with burst of citruses upon opening. Reminded me on YSL Elle. True floral woody musk, not imposing itself, easily wearable and suitable for any occasion. I am surprised how come this perfume isn`t more popular and wanted. Maybe it isn’t unique and recognizable, but is truly beautiful and reliable perfume.

I don't own a bottle of this I just tried it at the store. The opening reminded me of beer mixed with some other alcoholic beverage. The drydown was okay but nothing special, very genetic IMO

A polite, light, musky floral that fails to hold my interest.

I am not a fan of big fruity-florals but this scent is subdued & delicate. My nose senses earl grey tea (bergamot+?)with a transparent, watery note after the initial sour-sweet floral burst. I like this part but after my taste buds were tickled it becomes a bit flat & develops into a generic soft fruity floral & fizzles out like a wet squib.

This is not a bad scent - it is very likable - but when used over a period of time it loses its sparkle & fails to make the statement it promises at the start.

I dont know if anyone will agree with me here but this fragrance reminds me of a toned down version of 'cerutti 1881'. To my nose it smells of a very similar composition (although im sure its not) I cannot pinpoint precisely which floral note dominates here (possibly the Jasmine Leaf) but i can detect raspberry and plum in the opening notes and consequently these notes last through to the dry-down which then develops a hint of amber to go with the fruity notes. I normally use this perfume after a bath or as a bedtime fragrance as i find it quite a relaxing scent. Overall a nice feminine floral/woody scent with fruity nuances and average longevity x

I am not feeling this Versace. The notes listed piqued my interest but the actual scent is odd and rather synthetic. It is definately fresh but not in the usual manner. To borrow the description of another reviewer, it smells like berries and fabric softener. Didn't get any of the woods from the test strip but didn't dare test it on my skin. Can't say that I am truely disapointed but am VERY thankful that this wasn't purchsed unsniffed! o.0

I tried VW after a close friend told me it was the best perfume she had ever tried, I am so sorry if this is the best she has ever tried. VW is not a bad scent, but it is just not anything special. The top notes start off nice, not great but nice; but when it dries down on me it just fades away to almost nothing. It has pretty bottle, but to me it does not live up to other Versace scents. Will pass this on to my friend who thinks it is great, but this is just not for me.

Damn you skin chemistry!!! I almost bought this perfume because of all the great reviews here. Then I got the chance to tried it on my skin and unfortunatelly it turned into very cloying cheap rose smelling scent.

i have been wearing this scent for 6 years now, i've tried other scents, but this is "my scent" and as someone else mentioned.. not many ppl wear it so it makes it my scent, i get alot of compliments that it "lingers" i am inlove with this scent, and as i also own Guess and Guess Gold, and they smell nice! nothing will even compare to my Versace Woman! a friend bought it for me as a christmas gift, and i wasnt sure about it for a few days but ive been hooked since 2004!!! i really recommend it. but it smells different on everyone.. it has a floral scent with a kick to it!

I bought this today on the initial sweet-floral burst at trial and the sales-girl's recommendation. Sprayed some more on when I got home, two minutes later could not smell it, tried again... vanished. I'll try it again in colder weather but wish I'd bought Volupte instead: at least that's still hanging around from my trial.

Versace Woman is enchanting: the shiny box, the nice bottle, and the raspberry-frangipani smell of the perfume. It is light and lasts a reasonable length of time (few hours). My daughter likes it so much I gave her the bottle, though I still use it.

Out of all the fragrances I own, this is one of the few scents that portray true elegance and sophistication. In some ways it's my 'grown up' scent. Versace Woman is a fragrance that you can imagine yourself wearing to a strict formal event while sipping sparkling champagne and trying not to spill a drop on your expensive black satin gown.

I love wearing this when I go out at night because it has such great lasting power and sensuality. This is one perfume that I find intrigues men to come closer.

I get a lot of raspberry and amber in this fragrance which I absolutely love. I think this is a perfect scent for people of any age.

Nothing special... fragrance doesnt seems to change from its beginning to dry-down. For me its a beauty soap with burdened aroma of white flowers in it.

Sorry to say I think this smelled horrible on me. I've been wearing this for 2 hours now and it smells very smokey on me, or burnt rather. Kind of like singed wood and flowers. There is no sweetness whatsoever. It makes me feel dirty, and not in a sexy, naughty way.

Very fruity and woody fragrance. At first you can smell the raspberry, plum, lotus, rose and bergamot, and then amber and musk. Perfect harmony!
