This delicious fragrance from the Secret Garden collection is an intoxicating combination of strawberry, champagne and cassis.
It is available as EDT, body mist and body care collection.
When I first sprayed this, I thought that is would turn out to be a great strawberry field. However, after a few spritzes, I feel like I'm dipped into alcohol. I'd give this a 3/10.
Also, it smelled a bit like cardboard. Yuck!
This is a Victoria's Secret Classic...Many scents in the Secret Garden Collection have come and gone, but this one has never been discontinued. It is not a fruity floral, but a boozy fruity concoction...
On my skin it is linear, I get strawberries, champagne and sweet pink sugar, although this sugar is not listed as an ingredient.
It is fizzy, bubbly and sparkly just like champagne, and the strawberries are just a bit tangy. It has a crystalline quality that I love and find very refreshing. In my opinion the strawberries could have been blended better with the rest of the scent notes, but I still like it.
This is a pink scent, perfect for when you want to feel girly and cute. Nowadays I don't wear it that often, but I still like it very much.
I have it in EDT and fragrance spray too, the EDT does last longer, but if you don't apply the body lotion before, it won't last.
UCK this is repulsive! I'm sorry but this is just nasty...the champagne just kills the strawberries and ruins the scent.
I really loved this fragrance way back when I was in high school. I had my first boyfriend and one day when we were talking, he said that when we first kissed, I smell so good, like sweet strawberries, and the scent filled his mind and always connected it with our first kiss. He even thought that I sprayed it in my mouth because it's like he's tasting strawberries too. That was a great memory of ours, and enough for me to love this fragrance. :)
I love this scent but its sooo light so I literally have to spray like 1/4 of the bottle on me each time I want to use it just to make it last. The lasting power is really a shame considering this is one gorgeous scent! So flirty and sweet. To sum it up, its cute. If it weren't for the poor lasting power I'd be using this much more often. Too bad...
One of my most loved fragrances of Victoria's.
It's absolutely beautiful, one could smell the strawberry sweetness calmed by a good glass of champagne.
It's a pretty combination that lasts on the skin a few hours.
Very refreshing.
Apart from Yvresse, no perfume manages to get the sparkling of champagne, neither does this one. It is more of a cocktail sweet juice for me, not very longlasting unfortunately, and a bit childish to me.
Very basic yet classy scent. Unlike many from Victoria's Secret, this isn't obnoxiously sweet. It is inexpensive and blends very nicely with my Miss Dior Cherie.
Too literal for me. No nice surprises about it. I think it's really boring, and it doesn't last long.
Very nice and fresh scent. Lasts long. For casual style. Love the body butter too, as if real strawberries and champagne :)
Fizzy and bubbly. Refreshing in the summers. On my skin its like a very watered down version of Miss Dior cherie, minus the caramel note.
The sweetness of the strawberries is balanced by the champagne note. Nice.
I'm not a big fan of this. I mean, it's okay. I don't absolutely HATE it, but to me it smells like streyl, I don't really wanna say that though. But it actually DOES smell like champagne because it's smells bubbly, and just like champagne, kinda like that sweet smell. But then after a few seconds I get a whiff of pure strawberries, and it's not a bad smell, but I honestly wouldn't purchase it.
In my opinion, this is very artificial smelling. It's not worth purchasing. I loved the idea of this scent, but was disappointed when I finally tested it.
My Mum ordered this from me as a gift along with Amber Romance and earlier, Pear Glace. I find Strawberries and Champagne to smell more like champagne than strawberries, which to me isn't a very good thing since I don't particularly like alcoholic smells. However, after a while the scent does become pleasant and sweet and I can't say I dislike it. I rarely wear it though (I have the body mist which does not last a very long time anyway). I feel as if this scent is more suited to the teenage age group rather than someone over 20, but to each their own! :)
This was the first Victoria's Secret product I purchased, as a gift for my aunt. Since then, my aunt has become a VS fanatic, and my mom purchased a bottle of body mist.
It smells kind of nice, though it's a little strong for me (yes, strong). I can smell sweet perfumes (I actually kind of like them) but this one just made me dizzy. :( However, the older women's opinion I have is actually excellent.
I would recommend it, as it is a nice scent, just not my style.
I tried this YEARS ago and did not like it. I wonder if it had anything to do with the season? It was summer, in South Florida? Could have also been a different formula, WAY BACK THEN. But I did try it recently, crisp spring, Northern state, and I liked it. I too seemed to catch roses from it, even though they are not listed on the notes. Not fresh or real roses, by any means. Kind of a candied, boozy affair. Not spectacular, but nice, nonetheless.
I'm not a fan of this. Maybe it just doesn't mesh with my body chemistry or something. Got it as a gift and was excited to try it and it just made me smell like I'd spilled champagne on myself that had been sitting in the sun and got warm. Very disappointed.
I really love this boozy baby! It's certainly not for everyone so TRY before you BUY. If I had to compare it to anything I would honestly say it's a super cheap and less luxurious version of Dior Miss Cherie.
The champagne on this smells heavily nauseating during hot days. On colder days, or on cold temperatures, it smells like a strawberry farm watered with liquor. Sensous.
i love these kind of spray colognes, especially in summer. this one is fun, fizzy, light and sweet. a nice casual everyday scent. love the strawberry, and the fizziness of the champagne. dosen't last hours, but these light fun sprays usually don't.
I love it. ^^ On me, it smells like roses though. no champagne at all. If you open the bottle and sniff, it will give you a headache. too much champagne. But when I spray it and let it drydown, it smells like roses and a bit sweet.
I remember the first time I smelled this VS fragrance. For a split second I smelled BOOZE, big time! But after another second or two, the strawberries came through. It's a very nice scent and it's just like fizzy strawberries! It's for grown-ups, not little girls!
I hate it!!! to me, it smells like cheap lotion. I love victoria secret products but this one is just wrong! I had to throw it out
i dont know why but I get alot of roses in here although i smell the strawberries and the champagne i still get the rose smell....is it the picture on the bottle or is it just me.
Shhh...don't tell anyone ...but actually..(whisper it, now) I kinda like this...
Despite my dislike of all things pink & frooty, I do actually find the corners of my mouth turning up slightly when I raise my wrist to my nose.
It's bright and bouncy and just so very cheerful. It's a strawberry cassis champagne cocktail, it does exactly what it says on the tin. OK it's not sophisticated. It requires no intellectual effort to dissect, enjoy and appreciate it. Would I wear it to a job interview ? No. Would I wear it when I have seduction in mind? No. Will I wear it when I'm slobbing around the house in a tracksuit on a grey rainy day? Absolutely!
I certainly think it stands up to scrutiny just as well as Miss Dior Cherie, which is a frag I have (so far) intensely disliked with all its girly-girl strawberry caramel fug, but here the champagne takes the plastic strawberry (and yes, it is a plasticy-strawberry, what did you expect, miniature wild strawberries hand plucked from the banks of an Alpine stream?) down a few notches thanks to its slight yeasty-toastiness and the blackcurrant adds a little depth and richness to what could have been a pink plastic doll extravaganza.
It's no masterpiece, but it's a whole lot of fun... Cheap and very very cheerful.
At first, I like the scent. smells sweet but then as I wear it, I really don't know why I feel sick.....
It made me sick, I almost got a flu!!!!!
Nothing sexy about this "fragrance." The whole champagne and strawberries idea was brilliant, but the scent isn't very well put together. It stinks.
the scent is so sweet
my freind who hates perfume said
the scent was nice lol
Brings back my teen days. I had a date once and he loved it --- he couldn't stop sniffing the air as we walked. Lol. The body mist lasting power it great for a body mist, lasts about 2-5 hours, depending on the weather.
dried black strawberries
floating in last night's champagne
coppertone bug spray
I love this but I get bored and switch it up with other perfumes over this. Its a must have still. Best not to use it every day so you don't get worn out with it.
I used to wear it everyday to class. It's really a strawberry and champagne in a bottle. delicious and cool. I prefer the body mist because the lasting power is long enough and it comes in a very big bottle that can be sprayed all over the body.
the bad thing about applying the same old perfume every single day is i got bore of it even before i finish the bottle so i gave it to my friend to try and she loved it too!
This is a lovely, light scent. I honestly don't even like strawberries, but my friend had this on and smelled incredible, so I had to try it for myself. The only problem is that you need to reapply this frequently during the day, as it just doesn't have much lasting power (like most VS fragrances I've tried). Considering how tacky and/or boring most of the other VS Garden scents smell, I'm rather shocked this was discontinued.
Used the shampoo in this scent today. A real pick-me-up. The scent lingers all day long, in a good way.
Oh wow. On me it just smells exactly like straight booze, not sweet at all. Just alcoholic. Gives me a headache. =(
ONE OF THE MOST DISTINGUISHABLE FRAGRANCES IN THE WORLD,NO??? USED W/ A LIGHT HAND IT CAN BE RATHER NICE...
My classic fave in VS Garden line. This is the first one I sniffed among them during my college days and I still like to wear it now.
very sweet and fresh .I love it although it' not long last. But i love it's my favorite scent
My fave VS scent. I used to use this everyday when I was in college. Smelling this sweet scent just revitalizes me whenever I'm tired.
OMG! LOL! ;'D My friends and I bathed ourselves in this during high school. This was our scent and it brings back wonderful memories. The body mist was my fave and I wouldn't mind owning another bottle of it. It is good stuff. ;')
