Enfleurage, just as its name is an intense floral scent. Starts with heady floral note and continues to hold the very intense characteristic all the way to dry down. There's a hint of bitter woody note which is a bit woody and a bit green and I suppose, this comes from the cucumber peel rather the pulp. On the whole, it's like a mix of intense and complex floral which are carefully set on sweet vanilla extract.

I find it very sharp and being said that, a little caution is required when spraying as little extra will be too much. Just 4 spritz and elegance and grace will be your identity.

the heliotrope in this smells very warm and intense, that's why it does this violet sensation. i love the fragrances from voluspa, they are so delightful and the sillage is awesome. enfleurage is very natural floral smelling, very intense and subtle aroma of full blooming flowers in a wild garden - just delightful and elegant. rose and magnolia are whispering sweet airy, slightly powdery trails and the lavender is calming down the composition very shy in the background. a well balanced perfume - nothing to get noticed from far, but very tempting when someone gets closer ;)
...and it lasts for ages. great signature scent.
very thumbs up!

The first thing I notice upon spritzing Voluspa ENFLEURAGE is violet. It seems so clear and distinct that I cannot believe that it is a mere olfactory illusion! Within seconds, lavender storms in to take over with dictatorial loudness. But then the lavender slowly retreats, and the various other florals begin to mingle with the vanilla and rosewood to eventually create a somewhat violet-y not at all lavender-y drydown.

Offering a journey that I can heartily recommend, ENFLEURAGE is unexpectedly complex--and unique! This being the third eau de parfum from this little-known house to have pleased me A LOT, I have to say that perfumistas who like voluptuous floral compositions with big sillage and longevity nearly unheard of in the twenty-first century, should definitely get their noses on some of these fine creations. As an added incentive, the 1oz bottles are totally adorable and come housed in beautiful embroidered silk envelopes along with golden tassles around the nozzle as an extra adornment. The house of Voluspa clearly takes aesthetics seriously, and that's a very good thing, IMNSHO. These would make excellent (and remarkably inexpensive!) gifts to others--or one's self!!!!!

As soon as my perfume spending freeze is over, I'm going to buy everything from this house. Seriously.

Thanks to one of our cool members I'm trying out this scent today. I expected lavender to dominate here, but for me it doesn't at all. In fact lavender is in the background on my skin. Enfleurage is a happy floral scent, and call me crazy but I smell Violets!
Violets, heliotrope, and magnolia trees. It's almost like walking in a sweet french love garden, truly. This also reminds me of Fleur Defendue by Lolita Lempicka! I smell no cucumber and suspect they are not being honest about the notes.

Fabulous but not my favorite from this house.

A bit sweet yet powdery, the cucumber just floats in the background to give some cleaness at the opening. Also, I do get some spice from the rose but that isn't too long lasting. I don't find the lavender dominating - in fact, I find the rosewood more prominent in the opening stages than the lavender. But the lavender is there and continues the whole duration of the fragrance. I expect the cucumber is to keep the fragrance from being too cloying and that's fine with me. I am not a fan of cucumber so glad to see it's just an accent note in passing. Very reasonably priced at $18 for 1 ounce so I think this is a good fragrance to try for those who like low cost options.
