True Rose Woods of Windsor for women

this product has been revamped - top notes are green leaves & lychee; heart notes are violet, rose & jasmine; base notes are musk, woods & iris.

Although it is a decent rose fragrance, True Rose suffers a little from being a bit too simplistic in its realization of the flower. There's really nothing wrong with the scent. It's an amiable essence of young roses, distilled in a hazy composition of white wildflowers and alcohol. I appreciate this fragrance as a decent casual rose scent, but next to Une Rose, Rose Barbare, Rose Absolue, Red Roses, and even Tea Rose, True Rose doesn't really compare. It needs . . . a twist.

I like this perfume. I was lucky enough to find it with body lotion and bath gel and I can layer without feeling overpowered. There is a softness to this rose. It is rose, but not a strong, powerful in-your-face rose. Rather, it is rose for sure, but a somewhat gentler rose. This is rose that suits a wider age group too - I can see it being favored by an older age group but also being loved by a young girl. Staying power is excellent with just a few sprays. It has a soothing effect for sure. My emotions have been running ragged this week and this one felt so comforting.

Can I find it in Canada?! Please help me...

I really like this scent although I would not ware it as my perfume, its a great room freshener but to ware this is not on top of my list as a perfume favorite. Something about "Rose" just never has done it for me as a raw perfume, I don't know what it is about it. But leaving that in mind this is a beautiful rose scent.

Mmm... I like this! I used to have a bottle around when I could still find it easily on shelves. Not expensive yet performant! It smells of... roses :-)

Not very original and not totally true to real smelling roses, but a good rendition anyway. I would call it a downscaled YSL Paris. Recommended when you feel just relaxed and casual.

This is a beautiful and almost true rose scent! The only drawback for me is that after a few hours of wear, it gives me a slight headache. Many other fragrances usually give me a terrible headache, so this one is somewhat wearable for me. If you are not sensitive to many fragrances, then I would HIGHLY recommend True Rose, by Woods of Windsor.

I absolutely love this fragrance as does my husband when I wear it. This is what a rose perfume should smell like.

pink roses early in the morning, with dew drops still on the petals. i use this when i go to sleep after a night shift, somehow has a relaxing and soporific effect. my other half says it's very old-people's home, but he's getting used to it. feel like i go to sleep in a bed of roses

Roses, especially big blooming ones, are my favorites. The sweet smell always brings happiness and hope for a brighter future. In holistic healing, the scent will invite peace for troubled minds. That is what I am expecting from this scent, which is true. The scent brings out only a single, sparklingly clear note of rose. I never notice greeny geranium or sweety freesia, only rose and just rose. Though it does not last long (meaning that I must spray it every 2-3 hours), it will bring happiness and relaxation to my mind.
