Fars by Xerjoff is an Oriental fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Fars was launched in 2012. The fragrance features lavender, vetiver, jasmine, geranium, sandalwood, patchouli, cedar, bergamot and cypriol oil or nagarmotha. Fars was created by Sergio Momo, Sonia Espelta and Laura Santander.

Very nice scent, and can be unique here in the states given that it is very very oriental. However it wouldn't be hard to imagine a skillful Arabian perfumer that would provide you with very similar and 10X cheaper analogues.

Tried my decant of this juice today and it started out as an oriental smell, then moved to a super dry vetiver, woody, juniper scent, almost cold feeling. Finally, the drydown was a very pleasant even fresh combo of the drier scents with the lavender, jasmine and bergamot balanced with the woods. Very lovely in the drydown and not at all what I expected from the initial application. It all comes together beautifully.

I have to agree with Oslo-fjord, this is the best one from this new Oud Star collection.

Classy stuff from Xerjoff. Expencive, but you can smell it! This is my favorit (and the most versatile) from the Oud Star line, though I prefer Kobe over this one.
